Picked up the 128gb lte space gray yesterday with the Logitech keyboard case. Considering returning it within the 14 days.

I have the retina macbook and ipad mini and can't really see how this can fit in my life to justify the expense.

Am I missing something here? Wasn't the justification of the expense thought out before the purchase?

Ah that's the one I wanna et
Says it's about 3 or 4 weeks out on me if I order

I didn't get one mainly for that fact I think come next year iOS 10 will take more advantage of the larger screen along with apps. Right now as many users here have said its like having this awesome tool with little purpose. Not saying there isn't any purpose for it right now but its just the beginning of this new product line.

There's this thing called the 14 day return policy where you can try the product out for yourself.
Exactly. I don't know why some people here get so upset over others returning? Plus it just builds up the refurb stock once people start breaking their screens or other accidents happen.

When I was looking at an iPad Pro the Apple Store employees were even pushing the return policy. "You can always just bring it back if you don't like it!". I heard them tell a few different customers that same thing. It's a policy Apple created themselves. If it was really that horrible of system they would change the return rules.

A few minutes in a busy/loud/bright Apple Store is not the same as using it day-to-day. I've bought many more Apple products directly from their store due to the liberal return policy.

This is why you preview an item such as this in a store before making a commitment. Also, how do we know that some of these posts are not trolls?

I think sometimes you need to actually use it to fully evaluate if it's going to work for you. I can stand in the Apple store all day and play with one but until you take it home and try it on your desk, try it on your couch etc. It's not quite the same.

I read that after the 14 day return you receive an apple gift card and not cash back...

No, I'm pretty sure that you get money back the way you paid it. However, I think the extended holiday return period might only apply to in-store purchases, not sure if it applies to online buys.

I checked the date on my receipt and it applied to my online order for in-store pickup. I would think this would be similar to an online purchase that was shipped as well.

I don't know why folks equate size issues to weight first off.

You got it right, it is uncomfortable and awkward to hold where weight matters little since it ain't heavy.
Very true- in my opinion it's too awkward to hold comfortably. A laptop has a place to "sit", the iPad Pro feels like I'm just holding a giant pane of glass.

Deciding between the Air2 or Mini4 for my iPad needs, along with my MacBook. To each his own.

Air2 or Mini work for all my iPad needs, along with my MacBook. To each his own.
Yep. Today I had to use mine on my lap and there was literally no way to do it comfortably. I immediately wished I had a laptop on my lap, or a smaller iPad to hold. Portability for this is just horrible for me.

Just wondering if anyone still had one they were going to be returning? If so what size and colors and whatnot?
The pencil will make or break for me. bought the blk 128GB wi-fi + LTE plus pencil but the pencil will be shipping in a week
or two.So according to Apple sell person I have time to return until January 2016

Hmm I have seen a few people say about gift cards, one quoted an apple rep chat...

I'm thinking about it. Purchased a 128 LTE.

Not having the pencil to see a new use case and demonstrate unique value was a big miss by Apple.

I love the speakers and larger videos. Love the expanded keyboard. My air now feels cramped. The apps that zoom and aren't made for the pro are a big bummer...and given the lack of $$$ for developers in the iPad market, I am worried support will be slow or non-existent.

I'm just not sure there is enough additional functionality to justify the size and weight inconvenience.

Seriously...no Pencil, no Keyboard at launch. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Very true. I suspect there would be fewer folks thinking about returning the Pro if the pencil and keyboard were readily available. Especially without the pencil, it strikes me that the value of the iPad Pro is diminished substantially.
