I read that after the 14 day return you receive an apple gift card and not cash back...I am leaning towards returning it but awaiting the Pencil and Keyboard. I have two months to return it so no hurry.

Picked up the 128gb lte space gray yesterday with the Logitech keyboard case. Considering returning it within the 14 days.
I have the retina macbook and ipad mini and can't really see how this can fit in my life to justify the expense.

Would they be an idiot because they could afford it and want one now?Are you kidding me? Holy crap. Sad part is some idiot somewhere will buy it..
Thinking about a thingy is very different than using a thingy...No. Why would I if this was a well thought out decision to purchase it in the first place?
Al
Am I missing something here? Wasn't the justification of the expense thought out before the purchase?
Exactly. I don't know why some people here get so upset over others returning? Plus it just builds up the refurb stock once people start breaking their screens or other accidents happen. There's this thing called the 14 day return policy where you can try the product out for yourself.
Yeah, I was going to do a catch & release but without the accessories I thought it pointless.I think many people bought it so far knowing full well that it is easy to return.
This is why you preview an item such as this in a store before making a commitment. Also, how do we know that some of these posts are not trolls?

No, I'm pretty sure that you get money back the way you paid it. However, I think the extended holiday return period might only apply to in-store purchases, not sure if it applies to online buys.
Returning or selling mine. Its just too big for me, and its size makes it very uncomfortable.
Very true- in my opinion it's too awkward to hold comfortably. A laptop has a place to "sit", the iPad Pro feels like I'm just holding a giant pane of glass.I don't know why folks equate size issues to weight first off.
You got it right, it is uncomfortable and awkward to hold where weight matters little since it ain't heavy.
Yep. Today I had to use mine on my lap and there was literally no way to do it comfortably. I immediately wished I had a laptop on my lap, or a smaller iPad to hold. Portability for this is just horrible for me.Very true- in my opinion it's too awkward to hold comfortably. Air2 or Mini work for all my iPad needs, along with my MacBook. To each his own.
The pencil will make or break for me. bought the blk 128GB wi-fi + LTE plus pencil but the pencil will be shipping in a weekJust wondering if anyone still had one they were going to be returning? If so what size and colors and whatnot?
Hmm I have seen a few people say about gift cards, one quoted an apple rep chat...No, I'm pretty sure that you get money back the way you paid it. However, I think the extended holiday return period might only apply to in-store purchases, not sure if it applies to online buys.
Not having the pencil to see a new use case and demonstrate unique value was a big miss by Apple.
I'm just not sure there is enough additional functionality to justify the size and weight inconvenience.
Seriously...no Pencil, no Keyboard at launch. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
