Got the revised 12 Pro Sheath case today. Fit is better and the buttons are very nice now. Click almost as well as an Apple case. Only thing I noticed is the camera cut out is slightly off. The lower edge is closer to the bottom lens than the upper edge. Still seems to lay flat against the back of the phone though.
I noticed that problem on the sheath for the 11 pro as well.

Sorry if I missed this somewhere - but has anyone had issues with wireless charging (Satechi Trio) with the Caudabe Sheath? I love the case but haven't been able to reliably utilize wireless charging. I get a few minutes of charging then a blinking light.....

Anyone heard from caudabe? They’ve ghosted my customer service emails. Have a return and exchange to do.

After 2 weeks of waiting I finally have mine. I can see why they are so popular here, a very premium feeling case with a high quality finish. Glad it doesn’t have some of the problems seen in the first batch, it’s spot on

I was about to purchase the Apple silicone case and then paused because I remembered the Sheath. Anyone care to point out the advantages, if any, of the Sheath?

I got both this year just to test. The Sheath feels thinner to me and seems to grip the phone much more securely. I read somewhere else that people were having issues with their phones popping out of the Apple case and I can see why. I also don't like the texture or material of the Apple silicone cases but YMMV. That material picks up lint like no other in my past experience with the case. Sheath is all around simply a nicer feeling and fitting case, but again YMMV.

So I guess it's working fine with the ESR screen protector?

First time Caudabe user and I’m still kind of disappointed with the new batch of Pro Max Sheath. It fits a lot better than the first batch, but the sides still don’t sit perfectly flush. My right side especially I can notice moving a bit when I push on it. Pretty disappointing that they can’t make a case that fits right after two tries. And the buttons feel like crap compared to the Apple leather case. Why do people love this company again?

I can understand if you’ve had 2 cases with issues that your confidence would fade with Caudabe. That’s unfortunate. Those of us with no issues like these cases as for the 12/12Pro they’ve got it nailed. It’s the nicest feeling and looking case I’ve used or seen. Not keen on the Apple silicone or leather to be honest, plus I think they are priced to high for a phone case. The Caudabe is slightly more expensive than average but of very good quality IMO.

I’ve got two of the newer design and both fit perfectly. Sounds like you either got a lemon or they actually sent you another non-redesigned case.

As for the buttons, on both my cases they weren’t as clicky as I’d like, so I tried what I always do when that’s the case. I took a razor blade and made a slit down one side of each button individually. Worked perfectly, you can’t see the slit, and now every button clicks the way it should. Sure, you shouldn’t have to do that, but it fixed my issue and I didn’t have to contact support again.

If I were you, I’d definitely contact them again and request another replacement. Mine fit perfectly all the way around the device. No flex, no bulging, no sagging.

My redesigned 12 Pro has a little flex along the sides and top. It’s not bad. I’d prefer none, but when I was talking back and forth with support they did say that a little flex is normal due to the squared off side and edges and the properties of the case material. So I guess it’s normal.

Just got the Sheath for my Pro Max, fit is spot on, I have it with a Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [Glas.tR EZ FIT]. Still waiting on them to send me a revised Lucid Clear which they said they were going to send me 2 weeks ago... just emailed them back.

I got mine the first week of November. With the ESR screen protector installed the sides stick out so I removed the screen protector for now. So the new ones still have No. 20611 on the inside? Can't tell from these pics what changes were made from the one I have.

Is that the spigen one with the notch? Or full screen with the black border?

It appears to be yeah but I’ve only used this case for about 12 hours now. Not sure if it’ll push at the edges of the screen protector as they are practically flush, but so far no issues.
Mine is one with black borders full screen and is good. That blue looks good, could go that on my black 12 or the Grey too lol.

Never used a Caudabe case before. I always see a lot of praise here about this brand. I'm still weighing my options ATM but the Navy sheath is on my radar for my 12 Pro Max in Pacific Blue

i have one for the Mini. new in box...just dont want to hassle with a return.

I have the same (in graphite) and I’m trying to do a return, but oddly Caudabe isn’t responding. I haven’t even taken it out of the box yet or removed the protective film from the inside.

Their support was great when replacing the ill fitting sheath, but they’re dropping the ball on returns.

i tried it on and then realized it was too slick for my needs to right back in the box it went.

they finally replied to my email after i bugged them on twitter. said they've been swamped.
