Hi guys, just a question about having a tempered glass back screen protector on my 12 pro max in combination with the sheath, does anyone have that combo and experienced any problems with the fitting or buttons? Thanks so much

The tempered glass on the back isn’t going to allow the Sheath to fit correctly.

You've peaked my curiosity, sounds like a sweet combination of colors. Any photos of the MINI?
To keep the off-topic to a minimum, here's pics of my iPhone 12p with the Caudabe case and a nice wallpaper 😁

Anyone with a gray or electric blue and a silver 12 pro that can share some photos? Trying to decide between those and apple silicone in deep blue.

I don't have any ESR ones left to try with the OB. Gave one away, one cracked and dropped one and it cracked.
.... now I definitely know I should go for the Shellrus Sapphire screen protector. And I will be picking up the camera lens protectors from them as well, as these are the only ones that actually protect unlike others.(Mobilereviewseh YouTube)

Cheers bro

I got my Sheath in Ocean Blue today. I like the case. Slim with a good grip. Power button is good, volume buttons slightly mushy but I'll probably do the "cut a slit" trick and see if that helps. Overall, it'll be in rotation with my apple silicone in green, Bullstrap in Sienna, and Spigen Thin Fit in Navy blue.

i still have a new in box Lucid Clear for the iPhone 12 mini. make me an offer.

Does the sheath have good grip? I ordered a Smartish Kung Fu Grip off Amazon and the sides have the only area with grip. The back is slippery. Is the sheath different?

The Sheath has the same grippy pattern all the way around it (the back and sides), so yes, it’s different from that case.

I find the Sheath to have good grip. Here is a photo from the Caudabe website that shows the textured surface pretty well:

While I find the Sheath has good grip, it does not have as much grip as Apple Silicone as a comparison. I really like the silicone but have been using the Sheath since I got it if that tells you anything. The Sheath is not slick by any means, but the texture does not provide the grip I though it would upon seeing the photos and hearing folks rave about it's grip.

I have to agree with this, I always put on the sheath to "give it another shot" but always end up going back to the apple silicone. I don't think it works well with dry hands and mine are always dry now with it being cold and all the hand washing

Yeah. I agree about when your hands are dry. That’s the only weakness of the Sheath, in my opinion. I actually find it easier to grip the Veil when my hands are dry.

Just bought a second hand black Sheath from a YouTube reviewer.
All the cuts, buttons, and fits are great.
But is it supposed to look like this when used?
This only viewable on this particular angle.
Tried to clean it with damped micro fiber cloth with no luck.

Uuuh no. I've owned a couple of sheaths over the years and never saw something like that. Looks like he spilled oil on it or something.

I agree, it sticks less well in dry hands than a silicone would. OTOH, it's not a lint magnet like the silicone case :D

No. I’ve had three Sheaths for different iPhones, and I’ve never seen the material do anything like that.

Do you think it’s mildew or something? I really don’t think it’s the actual material of the case, but who knows.
