I'm satisfied by the 4" of my iPhone 5S, as I was for my 5.

I really don't want a screen larger than 5" on my next iPhone, but I have to say I'd like to have a little more screen estate, something like 4.5-4.7" will be perfect for me.

No, a phone has to be practical with suits. The iPhone 5s is a very practical size.

Most current rumors suggest the phone size will stay the same and the screen size (read: drastically diminished bezels) will increase. How will that not go with your suit?

With the 4" screen they have now I already have to shift my grip to reach buttons on the top of the screen with my thumb, so at this point they have already crossed the line as far breaking easy single handed use, so they might as well offer a bigger option for those that want it. I might go with the larger phone if I like the overall package.

I don't care if Apple makes the display larger in the future, so long as the iPhone is easy to use and reasonably pocketable.

I hope the size will slightly increase, with a reduced bezel, just enough to use a bigger battery, because a bigger screen could affects battery life.

You could also make the phone thicker. I know, that goes against Apple's trends, and probably not what people want, but I actually like my phone a bit thicker. The 4/S were perfect (for me).

Not to worry. Most will be pleased.

The iphone 6 will be the same size or about the same size as the current iphone. No bezel and a bigger screen at almost the same phone size. My firm has it pegged at around 4.5 or 4.7. Hard to tell from their supply chain the exact size of the screen. But the phablet rumors are just that rumors.

People forget the fact that Apple promotes 'ease of use' in 'one handed use' they so famously remind us of. These mockups of a larger iphone 5 are ridiculous.

Now they have a prototype 'phablet' but that is just it, just a prototype. No analyst thinks they will release it. The ones who want to make a name for themselves will sell their soul to do so.

Anything is possible but our firm are not buying it. ;)

This elephant 'phones' madness really has to stop. We're talking about phones. Not tablets. There's no need for something in between. Because they're no use for something in between. If you want a big screen for browsing Safari, buy an iPad. If you want a small screen so you can dial a number quicker, buy an iPhone. Hell if you really think you need something in between (which you don't), buy an Sony (no, absolutely NO reason to buy a Samsung).

These 'phablets' were meant for those, who can't afford a phone AND a tablet. It are compromises. And compromises are good, but never great, and always worse than dedicated products.

This year, if iPhone 6 should really have a even bigger screen, i will update to the 5s instead. But sooner or later, the bigger iPhone 6 will be the pre-gen model and it's going to b difficult for me. I really hope people and the companies get their mind clear and build true phones again.

Apple shouldn't slaughter very usable and stable form factor for large display devices.

Instead, they should make iPad with cellular calling feature.
iPad Mini will be the best and it will beat every others occupant in this section.

Here is my take on the subect of a bigger iPhone screen .

1.I want to carry around less items with me during my daily travels than a iPad and cell phone Along with other things I shove into a daypack for my daily travel to and from work

2.it just make sense to have a one phone that can bridge the gap between your iPad and phone to do a lot more on it than having to haul around a lot of extra items in a bag to handle both the phone and iPad

3.plus given the basic fact that the folks out there are wanting a larger screen iPhone it time apple gave them the so called option of having one .

Me I love the IOS 7 and want it does and what it can do on the iPhone .now since I went with the iPhone as my only device I carry with me for my work travels around the valley .

I just pack a small waist bag filled with eyeglass and apple earphones in there carrying case and iPhone lighting power brick and cord and a 12.volt plug in charger unit for use In the car .

That it for me now .would I love a larger screen heck yes but are we going to get it .I do not see if in the future but I can hope for it .

Are you authority the on what phones people should have all what. Some people don't want to carry a tablet and a phone around and want something in between. All because YOU don't feel the need to have a phablet don't dismiss people that did that choice as somehow ignorant for making it.

In this aspect I like iPhone 5c more than iPhone 5s

Indeed. iOS 7 looks good on a 5" screen. Perfectly at home in fact.

Well ... Not on that crappy Samsung :D

Btw I really hope 5" is the maximum they are planning to reach (actually I'd like 4.7" more)

I'm fine with the current 5S screen. The only thing I hope is that if they do make the screen larger - please for the love of god don't follow Samsung and make the phone itself huge.

IMO - the perfect size would be the exact size of the 5S, but with an edge-to-edge LCD, and maybe half the gap on the top and bottom. Make the home button touch sensitive, and hey presto!

Agreed. I like the size of the 5s in my hand but a little larger screen would be nice. Personally, I would not purchase the first bigger screen iPhone because there are often issues with the very '1st' of new things. I would wait until the 2nd version of a larger screen iPhone after the build kinks are worked out. Especially since I pay full retail for our phones now.

I havent changed my mind yet....

I am 6'6". My hands are proportionately larger of course. So a larger phone will be more comfortable in my hands.

But I can see why some with smaller hands or that wear clothing that doesn't lend itself to easily storing a larger phone comfortably might not want it larger.

It depends on how it's done. If Apple can increase the screen size but with minimal increase in the actual size of the device then I have no problem with a larger screen. I personally don't want to use a phone as large as many of the flagship Androids out there as some of them are just too large for practical use and look silly.

I'm the opposite. I'd rather go back to 3.5". I hope they provide options.
Same here. I've got tiny hands and the older iPhones were perfect for me. I have trouble using the iPhone 5/5s single-handed. I also miss the rounded edges found on the iPhone/3G/3GS. Alas, the reality of app development likely means I won't get my wish for an up-to-date iPhone with a 3.5" screen.

I will be fine with 4.3" or 4.5" if the phone itself does not increase very much. I like being able to hold my 5S one handed and use it with one hand. Plus I like how light it is and easy to carry around in my pocket. Sure, a larger screen would be nice but not if it makes my phone the size of a Note/S5/N5. Personally, I feel like if Apple is going to offer a physically bigger iPhone they will continue to offer a smaller 4" version with the same specs, just like with the iPads.

I still want them to go back to 3.5". The 4 inch screen with it's daft aspect ratio is one of the dumbest "me too" things Apple ever did.

The phone is large enough already

I enjoy the larger screen in my 5s, but it doesn't sits as comfortably in the pockets of my trousers as my 4.

My iPhone is the one thing I take everywhere with me. It's portability is a key part of that. The larger they make the device the less portable it becomes.

If they can enlarge the screen without enlarging the device, that would be great. But the phone is already large enough.
