Anyone else feel more comfortable than usual "holding out" until the next iPhone?

Last year I was ok with not upgrading to 5 (I have 4S). I played with them and even though I did like the lightness and screen, I stuck with my 4S because it didn't seem like a drastic change besides the hardware.

This year, we all know the 5S will have a power boost, better camera, etc.. possibly finger print scan, blah blah... and I still might just hold out for the 6.

Maybe it's because I don't need to have the newest iPhone, or because I am attached to my 4S. I can definitely afford the $199 for a new iPhone, I just don't know if it will be worth it for someone like me.

I'm waiting until after it's release to make my decision. I love coming on here and seeing things that people complain about with the newest iPhone, before making my decision. And I know, people find a way of complaining about everything.

Again, it wouldn't bother me not to upgrade, but I am waiting a bit after it's released to make my decision.
 
I'm getting the 5s only because I'm sick of the 4s already. However this will be the last 'S' iphone I buy.
 
I regret getting the 4S, the 4 was just fine, tho' I did enjoy my 4S there was also a sense that I could've just hold for a few months till the 5.

I'm staying on the 5, iOS 7 GM will probably get rid of all the framedrops beta 6 has, and probably the iPhone 6 will have a 5 inch screen, just guessing based on the rumours, not really believe apple will go all the way to 6.
 
Same here. No plans to upgrade past the 5, although I could if I wanted.

The only rumored feature I'm interested in is the better battery life, but I already go full days without worry so why bother?
 
It's not that big of a deal for me, I will get $450ish for my iphone on craigslist and just pay the extra to get a new phone full price. It breaks down to what others pay every 24 months, except I get to do it once per year, and with the money I save on GoPhone I have enough to buy the phone and still have another 300-400 left over every 12 months.
 
Im on a 4 and im really itching for a new phone. Just dont know if I want to pick up the 5s. I want to get a new phone take advantage of the 4g speeds in the phone. The 4 is feeling sluggish as well. Im not the type to buy the latest and greatest every year. Not really happy with the supposed new features of the 5s. Will be a really long wait for the 6.
 
I have had the 3GS, 4, 4S, and now a 5. I am ordering a launch day 5S. Look like the only iPhone I won't be getting on launch would be the iPhone 5C

I honestly have no idea how you've held out this long, lol. Ok, that might be a bit exaggerating...but after having my IP4 for 18 months it felt soooo damn slow. The jump from the 4 to the 5 was HUGE. Significant speed bump, larger screen, much better camera, 4g. THAT was an upgrade worth making! If you can hold out until the 6, more power to you, but I could understand if you don't!
 
Yeah really happy with my 5 and will be happy to wait for the 'big' phone next year.

I will probably have to upgrade to the 5S since my 4S battery is on its way out. The problem with the 5 was with the non-flush screen with the chamfered edge and also the weight. Otherwise I would "hold out" another year or two when another design hits.

I can, I've been able to upgrade since August 15th, and have more than enough cash to get a 5S, I don't even plan on selling my 4S when I upgrade. I just might wait for the next redesign. It sucks that I am on a 4S because my phone will now be 2 years old, but my 4S still does what I need it to do, and I have no complaints about it. My battery hasn't even seemed to deplete yet. Still get's me a whole day with moderate (sometimes heavy) use.

Havent sealed my decision yet, but not everyone who isn't upgrading cant upgrade, some just choose not to.
 
Yes. Unless it can do something amazing like make me pancakes. I'll be keeping calm and rocking my 5.
 
I usually always get the new model regardless of the new features. Why? Because I always sell my old one and make a lot more money than I paid for it. I really never plan on leaving AT&T anytime soon so signing a new contract isn't too big of a deal.
 
I've been running iOS 7 beta on my iPhone 5 and it feels like a new phone again. It's the only currently selling iPhone that will do all of the (known) features of iOS 7, including AirDrop, which 4/4S can't do. The only thing you won't have is the fingerprint sensor.

I'm holding out too, iPhone 6 may add NFC payments...unless Apple surprises us w/5S, but, fingerprint sensor is going to be the major hardware upgrade this year (& A7, camera updates, of course, but the A6 still rocks).

I have the same feeling.I think the way they shocked everyone with ios 7 IPhone 6 is going to be:eek:.

I'm happy with my 5 I don't need it any faster.Give me ios 7 and I'm happy.:cool:
 
I feel the same way mainly cuz there isn't a major re-design. And my iphone 5 is more than enough right now for the things I need it to do. I'm gonna hold out for that 4.7" iPhone.

Me too, absolutely no reason to upgrade. I also want the 4.8 or 5.0 inch iPhone and I've waited two years for it. I'll wait 1 more. If it does not come out in 2014 by September, I'll need to get an Android then. I'm getting sick and tired of Apple's stubborn ways.
 
I got the 4S and the 5 on their launch days, but it looks like I won't be getting the 5S. Just not enough there to be a worthwhile upgrade, according to the current rumors. Instead, I'll use the last upgrade to get my little brother a 5C. He's still on a 4.
 
Still undecided. Will wait till Tuesday to decide at this point. I sold my 5 early to maximize resale.

Depending on what's in store I may end up just getting an iPhone 5 again used at a good price.
 
waiting it out... my first iPhone was the 4 when Verizon finally got it...I went from the 4 to the 5 and will more than likely get the next iPhone next year...My 5 is jailbroken and with an iOS 7theme/ features so this will hold me over. I don't want to go through the hassle of selling a phone and then paying for a new phone off contract....those dollars add up...instead I will be upgrading my ipad(I still have the original one).
