I was wondering if someone was going to post something like this. I've had my 5S for 4 years and am seriously considering "upgrading" to either the SE or 6S. The only things I don't like about my current phone are no WIFI calling (on AT&T at least), I've outgrown 16GB of storage, and it's slow. Both the SE and 6S fix all that while still giving me a headphone jack. I like the price of the SE but I do like the larger screen on the 6S. Hmm....

I went from a 5C to an SE a year ago in the spring, and have been really happy with it from day one. I still use a 4S to serve up audiobooks from a speakerdock so I'm clearly a fan of the smaller form factors in phones. The SE is mine for as long is it holds up and is supported.

Can I just say a big Thank You for the link. I ordered the 128gb for £314 on Friday it was delivered Saturday and I'm so pleased with it my 5S was starting to switch off for no reason so I needed to replace it and at that price I couldn't say no.
Looks like this offer is over? :(

No problem, pleased you nabbed one. I reckon they must have had a load of stock so reduced with the 8 etc coming out but then loads seem to be buying the SE as it tells you how many have sold it last 48 hours when you hover near the price so they hiked the price back up!!

Was a cracking deal and im loving mine so far!

My carrier just stopped selling the SE. The next iPhone that's the cheapest is the iPhone 6 with the A8 for $300. I feel lucky I got the SE now since it's no longer being sold. Phew

UPDATE:

I noticed a dead pixel on my SE. Took it to Apple who ran some diagnostics and confirmed it was indeed.

I took it back to John Lewis, who gave a replacement. Now the replacement has a white burn in mark and a dead pixel as well!

I really like the SE, but am thinking the quality control is a bit hit and miss? Thinking of just paying £300 more and going for the iPhone 8.

Ah that’s really rubbish for you. Nothing takes the fun out of a new phone like dead pixels and the like. My SE’s screen is just ok - not as even as my 6 to a degree where it feels like a step down. I remember returning pads and phones years ago for screen problems. I guess we’ve got used to more reliable tech.
