When we go camping I'll put it in an OtterBox to protect it from dust, humidity, etc. but I take it off as soon as we leave. It feels so much thinner after removing the OtterBox. There's no way I could keep it on 24/7.

yeah i've been naked for over a year now. I am also clumsy. The phone has been dropped multiple times from chest height onto tile and concrete. One time i forgot i had it on my lap and stood up to get out of my car and it went sliding across asphalt. It's got 2 scratches on the glass and works perfectly, no cracked glass or light leaks or anything like that.

When i bought it i originally had a wrapsol protective film cover and a bumper on it but quickly abandoned both for the sleek sexy nakedness.

Rocket fish bumper or a casemate jett bumper.

SGP Skin carbon shield for the back.

Nothing on the front.

Just dandy.

I use a carbon fiber skin on mine. Provides lay-on-the-table protection and let's me have the naked feel of the phone. Fantastic, really

Everyone knows naked is best but where I live the reception is SO poor that unless I use a case all I get is 'No Service' or 'Searching....' Stick a bumper on and there is zero problems.

iPhone 4 is brilliant to look at but I have never used a case on all previous generations of iPhone....I have had the handset replaced but all my friends who have ip4 have same issue here. I would like to think that this is a carrier issue but as I said no problem before.

Front and back protectors are enough for me (knock on wood!). Cases never stay on my phone for more than 1-2 weeks, so it usually ends up naked. Hopefully it doesn't go skinny-dipping as well. :)

It's not just dropping it but the amount of scratches it can get putting it on the desk at work or at home or even in your pocket

I take the middle road as well. I find the iPhone 4 much too slippery to go completely naked as I've come very close, several times, to dropping it. I find the Apple Bumper absolutely useless in terms of protection so I use the InCase Snap. By far my favorite case for it's grip and minimalistic appearance. Works great for me.

If the iPhone wasn't so slippery, I'd go naked. But with the InCase Snap, you can barely tell there's a case on at all.

The 4 is much too square for a full case. Everyone one I've seen with a full case looks like a brick. Other phones hold on to their aesthetics a bit with a full case. iPhone 4 looks like ass.

Bumper if anything at all.

I keep my iPhone 4 naked, and have only dropped it once which left ONE little mark on it, at one time I had a bumper on it but I took it off.

I've got naked with every phone I've had. I mean it's only a phone, couldn't care less about little scratches all over the phone as long as the screen is fine.

Cases suck.

People tell me "well its an expensive electronic, what if you drop it?!" to which I say "well your computer is an expensive electronic, do you put a case on that as well?" :p

Of course for the clumsy types though its a money saver... ;)

You don't bring your computer around however, which you did not specify whether it would be a desktop or laptop. For laptops, there are still many cases and bags for it that could protect it when on the go...

Anyways, I would rather protect my invest and get a case and screen shield, I really hate when I see finger prints on my iPhone. At that point, I wonder how it would look sexy if all you have on it is a bunch of oil marks?

...and screen shield, I really hate when I see finger prints on my iPhone.

But screen shields seem to attract dirt, especially at the edges. They end up looking horrible. Yes, you can change them regularly, but then again, you can clean the screen too.

Used to use them, went back to naked screen. Perhaps they've got better in the meantime?

That's it...

I'm gonna whip off my screen stuff and go nude for a while... Anyone know what Verizon's policy is on replacing broken screens if I have insurance? LOL

i hate putting cases on my iPhone especially the bulky ones they make me feel like I'm holding a brick! although a do like the wrapsol protectors thought they are like full body "screen protectors" and they don't add weigh or size to the phone!!:D

Carbon skin on the back, but otherwise naked. Sometimes I'll put a bumper or an ultrathin barely-there type case on it if I'm going to be someplace where I'll need my phone out of my pocket for extended periods of time. But I find it feels twice as big in my pocket when there's a case on it compared to without.

Wait, that last part didn't sound right...!

Naked all the time indoors. I have to remember to close the blinds otherwise the neighbors point and laugh. :)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

1) get a new iPhone

2) get a new case to protect it

3) wait three weeks, stop treating it like a bomb, and take the case off

4) naked ever since

I repeat these steps for every new iPhone I buy. I think I'll skip them for the next release. I just end up hoarding iPhone cases I never use.
