You could try a skin. Best skins ever is pretty great if you get the matte finish for the back just don't select the screen protector. It looks totally naked but it adds a tiny bit of grip. Only like 7 bucks right now

Has anyone tried the slick wraps naked wrap? Wondering how well it stays stuck to the phone and if it actually protects anything.

I don't use a screen protector but I do have a very slim hard plastic case on mine. I wanted to go without it but I only bought when people were talking about the bending with the 6. Figured what the hell, it still fits the 6S and is barely noticeable.

Same here. I ended up with Incipio's Ultra-Thin Snap On transparent case. Unless you look real close, I think it looks naked.

You always buy a CASE and a screen protector.

Always.

I'm a guy, I don't have a man-bag or a satchel or a metrosexual shoulder bag.
I am a 40 something businessman who works in an office. I don't carry the phone in my hand when I'm walking.

I put it in my pocket. My jean pocket or my khaki pocket or my suit pants pocket.

I have a case, a screen protector, and it still looks beat up.

But it works.

I wonder how many guys are here. Where do guys put their iPhone 6S+?
I've had iPhone 6 Plus and previously the Note 2 and 3. I get a phone every 9 or so months.

Also a big fan of the Caudabe Veil here (the "XT" version, not the one that leaves the bottom open). Fits the bill if you don't like cases in general. Not sure what you mean by hairline scratches unless you're talking about the screen. I put a glass screen protector on the front. With that on the front and the Caudabe protecting every other part, you basically are completely protected from scratches and chips anywhere on the phone. Works well. the only thing I miss is the cold metal feel of the phone, as kinky as that might sound.
Is the full glass screen protector fully compatible? I tried to use one with a Spigen Neo case and the glass screen protector kept coming off. I just ordered a Veil XT in Frost. Thanks for the recommendation.

Just bought the Caudabe Veil XT as many recommended here. Also saw this glass screen protector on sale today at Touch of Modern so just bought one to see how that goes--at $12 a piece I'm not expecting much though.

I actually went naked with my 6s plus last night. It got too cold and felt weird so I put my clothes back on. Never drinking that brand of Tequila again!!!

For all the people who use the tempered glass screen protectors: do you find the edge of the protector annoying to slide your thumb or finger across?

Anyone with the iPhone 6 leather cases: is the fit right in the 6s? I like to go caseless, but I was going to get a skin and possibly use an apple leather case for those times when I'm really wanting a leather feel in my hand. Plus, some retailers are discounting the iPhone 6 leather cases now.

I consider AppleCare+ my case. I can't stand cases and screen protectors make me cringe. I've had my 4S four years and it still looks pretty darn good. 6S is coming next week, I won't be using a case of any kind.

Been waiting on my i6s and have been using the 6 completely naked. Been holding up very well. Though, I'm very careful with my phone, dedicated pocket etc... My only concern is the scratches the phone will get once I keep my phone on a table or surfaces.

I completely agree. It's beautiful to carry and brilliant to hold.

I completely disagree. There is nothing wrong in keeping it in a case especially when that case is a minimalist thin clear case that does not detract as all from the look of the phone but will prevent scratches and scuffs especially when put down on hard surfaces as well as protect the camera better.

All of you saying Apple Care+... You guys realize there is a deductible right? You don't just walk in and they hand you a new one. $99 deductible for each replacement.

Seems a little steep considering the up front cost and that an out of warranty screen replacement (which is the most likely damage) is $109.

Only reason I got it is because I had no choice with with the IUP.

Yes it's slightly annoying when using 3D Touch, other than that.. it's fine.

Also, I'm normally one to go naked with iPhones but the iPhone 6/6S design is just too risky. I'm actually enjoying using a case and I've never used one for my 3G, 4 or 5S.

Paying £599 up-front for a phone without insurance has made me realise using a case is totally worth it.

I used my 6 plus naked but for 6s plus I'm really enjoying the apple saddle brown leather case.

But the Caudabe Veil XT is the best minimalistic case with 360 degree protection.

I got my 6s plus last week and ordered a spigeon minimal case, but its taking forever to ship. In the mean time, I'm finding that it is easier to hold on to than I first thought after using it for a week. I may just stay naked with it. I used to always go with cases and the last few phones I've gone naked... iPhone 5s and Galaxy s5. The Galaxy being plastic is quite durable and easier to hold than iPhones. I kind of like that... always wondered why Apple didn't make a case that was designed to both look awesome, and was easy to hold and durable. I think they are definitely better compared to the glass iPhone 5, but still not perfect.

I am a guy... someone asked. I almost always keep my phone in my left pants pocket alone... jeans, or business pants. I have always managed to get a few scuffs and minor scratches, but that doesn't bother me... its a flippin' phone, not a work of art or museum piece. Even when I used cases, I'd still get some scratches and scuffs because grit can get in the case, and there are parts of the phone still exposed.

When the case arrives, I'll make a final decision on how I'm going to roll.

No case or screen protector on any of my phones past or present. Part of why I buy a phone is the aesthetics so why cover it?

I have the 6+, I keep it in my front pocket, it fits in all my front pockets in my pants and I sometimes wear tight jeans. As for not using a screen protector or case: I would get a case. It's better to keep your phone nice and without damage especially when you want to sell it later (if you choose to, I most likely will sell my 6+ when the next iphone comes out)
