Anyone got the 2010 Mac Pro in UK?

I've tried loading the KN with all these numbers without success. Earlier in this thread someone mentioned a code beginning HKG-8*******, unfortunately I don't have this and all my codes have 9 figures and not 8.

Argh :S

Hello asnozz,

You need to go to the US Apple Store, that's just www.apple.com, go to the store section and down the bottom of the page is Check Status of your order, that brings you to a log on page for your order number and postcode or you can try your Apple ID if thats linked to this order, then th HKG number should be there within. Good luck!! ;)

Unfortunately I've been going through the US site and don't have a number beginning with HKG. I wonder if it has shipped from somewhere else.....

I don't get it! Does Apple ship now from Luxembourg? I thought their Distribution Center is in the Netherlands.

just to add to the confusion, mine has been shipped by UPS and should be with me tomorrow. I'm glad I've finally found out where it is :D

For some reason I didnt have a tracking number until the day before it was (is) due to arrive :confused:

How long did your orders take? I ordered the hexa-core 3 days ago and order status is: shipping in two weeks, delivery in 3 weeks. Sooooooo loooong :eek:

Good news. Let me know when they arrive. I think I am going to have to wait another day at least. No change on my delivery status at all. Did you get any ema from Apple when it transferred to UPS?

Hopefully I will get mine tomorrow.

no email from UPS or apple. The tracking just updated with a new delivery date (expected) and a UPS code. If I go on their website, it states it is out for delivery.

I order the 23rd of August, Dispatched the 26th, here (apparently) now.... :)

Oh good news then!! When did ya receive your UPS tracking details (what time of the day?)

Only been over three weeks wait!! :rolleyes:
 
Mine has arrived. UPS tracking details were posted last night (difficult to know when as the Apple Store was down for the new iPods & Apple TV).

Came in the big white Mac Pro box so everyone at work now knows I have more money than sense :cool: :p :D

And it said 2/3 weeks for you before, too? I am a bit scared it's listing such long shipping times because I got the free printer and (almost) free iPod nano deal (?!)
 
Mine is arriving tomorrow.:D. The only problem is I have a meeting first thing. I hope I don't miss it and get a "you were out" card!

So it's been over two weeks for you? Are shipping/delivery times of 2/3 weeks to UK normal? :( I really want it earlier..
 
I ordered mine (6 core 3.33, wireless keyboard, everything else standard) on 31st August, it shipped today (2nd Sept) from Ireland and is with UPS. Delivery is scheduled for Monday (gutted it isnt tomorrow as would have had Saturday to get it configured and loaded up with ram, hdds and ssds)

What?! Why from Ireland?! Did your order state a longer shipping time as well or has it always been 2nd september? I ordered the same, but with 5870 card.

I'm starting to think it's either the 5870 card or the fact that I got the back to school deal that's holding my order :confused: .. but 2 weeks shipping, 3 weeks delivery?!

Didn't get any heads up from apple, tar muchly, kept an eye on 'tings all day and then been out on toon for night, just got in (apologies for any errors etc!!)
Nowt exceptionally changed on KN website but just logged into apples status page just now and gives carrier tracking number and assigned carrier, which happens in this case to be UPS. My worry is that it arrived in the Midlands of all places and now has to work it way down south, really Apple, maybe have a look at a map next time!! Considering the machine was in Amsterdam since Tuesday morning, then Luxembourg then Brumland!!! Christ, Apple must be a tour promoter!!! Ha and only 3 and a half weeks after ordering it, not bad for standard (but expensive bit of kit really)!!

Now that I've said that, it'll never arrive tomorrow!!

It's been 9 days from shipping notification to delivery. I ordered a printer with the MP and they have to ship them together in the UK. This adds two or three days to the time I think. Its arriving 4 days ahead of Apple's predicted date.

It's out for delivery now. I am sitting waiting patiently.:D
