I'm interested in *deleted*

Nevermind, items are taken, and I had a reading fail... lol

According to wikipedia, final cut express 4 is intel only

I was planning on doing a random lottery for the software, so if you want to be considered in the "let the random number generator sort it out" event, put out your wants.

Also, FCE 4 looks like it'll work on G4s and G5s according to Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP536

Well if it comes down to random draw, put me down for:
Aperture, Final Cut Express, Virtual PC, Adobe Creative Suite

Guess wikipedia is wrong:

"In November 2007, Apple released Final Cut Express 4, which although it did not support real-time editing in the AVCHD format (it only allowed for transcoding AVCHD to Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) provided that the camera was actually attached to the computer - it did not convert AVCHD files stored elsewhere and is currently for Intel processors only)"

I haven't seen any other takers for Dreamweaver 8 so I call dibs on that. I am not sure who called it but if it's still an option put me down in a draw for any version of Final Cut (long as it works on a G4) and a Draw for Adobe CS2

Also discovered: copies of iLife '04, iLife '05 and iWork '05.

Good god the numbers of discs...

But wait! Would you like to be upgraded to a copy of iLife '06 (2x) or iWork '06 (1x)? Or iLife '08 (1x)?

Also got a copy of Office:Mac 2004.

And... looks like another copy of CS2. So most people who wanted it looks like they can grab one.

That's the end of my disc odyssey so I'll give people through the weekend the opportunity to chime in, then I'll randomly pick people and send PMs.

I'd love a copy of Final Cut Studio should one end up staying available. I'm fixing up a G5 for a local elementary school, and I know they would love it. Just want to say "Thanks!" to fuchsdh for your generosity. It's threads like these that make me love this forum.

Upgrade to iWork '06! Does that run on PowerPC? Because I need one to run on PPC

I will take a copy of iLife '06 (I already have a copy of iLife '08) and the copy of MS Office 2004

And to make it known again I want Dreamweaver 8, Adobe CS2 and any version of Final Cut (Long as it works on PowerPC)

The only thing I really want from there is the Final Cut Express 4, or if possible the Final Cut Studio with the content disks (I'd be more than willing to send a few bucks to you either way though :p )

Our office is currently gearing up for a move, and I've been going through old discs of software. There's a lot of stuff that's pre-Universal and/or we don't use anymore, which means it's probably going to be pitched or hopefully recycled. Going through the piles I've got:

*Adobe CS2
*Macromedia MX
*Flash 8 Pro
*Old TechTools, Diskwarriors, etc.
*Final Cut Studio / Final Cut Express
*Stuffit/other utilities.

I wanted to check on here if there's anyone who might find old versions of creative software still useful. If people are interested I can go through and give an actual accounting of what I've got.

I want final cut studio if not i could use final cut express.

I'd just like to say to the OP, considering all this stuff could be sold easily on Ebay (especially the Adobe software), good on you for being so generous in giving it away!

I can second that! Thanks to the Generousity of a user here on MR I have a MDD motherboard on it's way and the only thing I have to pay is the shipping for sending it here!

I agree-this whole thread is incredibly generous, and what makes this part of the forum so great!

If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be getting a hard drive for my MDD

I wonder if there is any generous users on this forum willing to give away some MDD parts to me :)

No offense, but you can't go around begging for stuff. Some people may be nice enough to offer something, put its kinda rude to go around begging for stuff.

Not begging at all :) I can get things for the MDD on eBay which seems ill need to look for atleast a single 1.25 CPU since the MDD motherboard i have coming to me in the mail is the faster bus and my 1GHz CPU will run slower. It does open up the door though now i can get dual 1.33GHz CPU card.

My eMac on the otherhand... that's more difficult i cannot get a 1.25 of 1.42GHz motherboard on eBay I can get the whole computer but i really don't need another eMac

Geez I just sent you a free MDD Logic board, was that not 'generous' enough!

Oh it is generous and i apperciate it greatly :) however I could use more MDD stuff, Dual 1.42s stuff that is hard to find and that i cannot find on eBay :(
