Anyone still have slow wifi issues with IOS 8.02?

I still have issues on my 5s. It takes 5 - 15 seconds to change pages in Safari. MacRumors is a good example: I open a forum, click on a thread title, and the blue status bar stalls for 5 - 15 seconds before it finally loads the new page. Sometimes it times out and I have to switch off wifi and reload. I'm beyond frustrated with this issue. At this point I'm not even using wifi on my phone which is chewing up my cellular data.

I was when I posted that message. Now I'm on 8.1 and still having the same issue. I've tried all the suggestions (setup phone as new, reset network settings, make sure my router is WPA2, only enable the 2.4ghz on my router, etc.) and nothing has worked.

Same here. It's so frustrating. Any time I wake my phone or my iPad I have to turn off wifi and turn it back on, then count to 10, and then it probably works until the next time I put it to sleep.

I think 8.1.1 FINALLY fixed this issue on my 5s. I've loaded about twenty different pages in safari since the update and no lag or stalling so far. Let's hope it sticks and I can finally use wifi again.

I am hesitantly agreeing that it is fixed in 8.1.1. Time will tell.

I notice a couple seconds of lag every now and then when changing pages, but so far it's nothing like it has been since upgrading to 8. My wifi was basically crippled before. Every second or third page I tried to load would take forever. So this is a vast improvement so far. I just hope it is permanent.

Agreed - it was unusable before. I noticed it mostly on the Zynga poker app, because i kept timing out from playing a hand. Very very frustrating. I just hope it's permanent as you say!

I have updated to 8.1.1 on iPhone 6. I also had slow wifi when I had bluetooth enabled on 8.1.

Now with bluetooth enabled, I get my wifi speed back. yeah!

Well what difference after the updates on my iPhone 6 and iPad 2 now running 8.1.1, let's hope the problem is fixed now ?
