The forums are going bonkers!

I am still with the original 6+ from 2 years ago. I love it and honestly wasn't really wowed by the new release. However now I am some what tempted to upgrade through one of the upgrade programs therefore giving me the option to upgrade when the true redesign comes out.

With that said, I still enjoy my 6+ from two years ago and it is still going strong and again the upgrades don't really wow me (I am a casual user anyway).

Anyone in the same boat? All i see when i search for this type of scenario is people asking if their 6s / 6s+ is worth the upgrade. For me, its the original 6+ vs getting the 7+. Decisions decisions.

I'm trying the 7 out because like all apple products battery life ****ing sucks. I wanna see what the hype with 3d touch is about.

Different answer for different people. I kid you not I have a friend in my bible study group that is still rocking the iPhone 3GS. Dead serious. I still see a few 4/4s and know a lot still using the iPhone 5 and 5c including my girlfriend who's is stuck on iOS 8 because of lack of space for iOS 9, at least that can still be updated to iOS 10 when I dump her camera roll and figure out how to purge 2GB of iMessage cache.

Personally I have the SE but may grab a 7 early next year or late this year if they pop up on Swappa for a half decent price. The rest of my family is on the iPhone 6 and I haven't had any complaints about their performance. So sounds good to me. No need to spend money when you don't need to.

My wife is sticking with her 6+ and I ditched mine in April for a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Yes, I am still on the 6 with T-Mobile. I'm ready for LTE Band 12; that's the primary reason I'm going to upgrade. Going to do the T-Mobile upgrade promo for the 128gb black 7.

Well my plan was to actually try out the new samsung note 7 edge because it looked amazing. However I don't want to die. It does look cool though, not worth death...maybe worth the risk... haha

regardless, if apple had the balls to design something like the samsung note 7 edge I would be all over the upgrade but it seems they are holding out for the tenth anniversary.

Not s plug for Samsung but they're fixing the issue and have been very quick with the recalls. If it interests you just get it when it's a replaced phone. We are taking s few weeks.

Recently sold my 6 which was in perfect and excellent condition. Wife has 6S+, so time for me to upgrade 7+ :) 7+ will be good upgrade by at a good price too :)

If anything I'd make the 6s the daily driver. This thing is plenty fast, but I like tech so the 7+ is mine

I probably wouldn't of upgraded but I dropped my 6plus twice in a 2 week period. Fixed screen once and been d along with a cracked screen since May from the 2nd drop. It overheats like crazy and because of the drop housing is bent so light bleeds through. Other than that I have no issues except my laptop don't recognize when phone hooked to it and I'm on the iOS 10 beta and some of the features don't work for me.

I think I'm hold on to my 6+ for another year and wait for the iPhone 8. To upgrade or rent basically using plan now and have to give it up in a year is pissing away $$$$.

As of right now I am planning on holding onto my 6 plus 128gig for one more year. My Husband wants to replace his 6 plus for a new 7 plus 256gig. When we are together, I will just use his phone for taking photos. I am happy with keeping my 6 plus as long as it is working.

I'm trading in my 128GB 6 for the 128GB 7. I anticipate that it will feel the same in my hand but I know the 2nd generation Touch ID, faster CPU, water resistance, and 2GB of RAM will totally make it feel like a huge upgrade as I use it everyday.

My 6 is going on swappa. Putting a payment down on NEXT to keep payment lower. Will recoup that with the sale of the 6.

How do you like the edge? I have been seriously considering that with how underwhelming this announcement was but I have never owned Android.
I love it. There are good and bad things about both, but the Android works better for me.

I'm sticking with my 6 I got on launch two years ago. Why? I love the phone, size it works super for everything I do and have had no problems what so ever. This is a testimate to the product. I understand people want the newest and best but if you're happy with what you have, I think it's great Apple makes quality products that last and perform

No, upgraded because of new camera, water resistance, love new tech and Verizon's trade in deal was impossible to ignore. My payments will go down and I don't have a two year old phone.

First time since the 3Gs that I haven't upgraded on launch. I'm a total Apple whore but the ludicrous UK pricing plus little real-world improvement (speed / camera bump and new colours...) mean I'm sitting this one out. I feel a little sad about it but strangely 'clean'!

I'm sticking with my 6s Plus and hoping for more wow next year.
