Anyone trade their 6+ back in for a 6?

I would be going down to the 6S from my 6+ this year, I'm hoping the battery difference is less than what I have seen, having used both for extensive amount of time (1.5 months each) I settled with the 6 Plus due to my extreme battery needs lol. I do love the 6+ but I wish Apple had trimmed the bezel's a bit. Comparing it to some of the other high end phones with same 5.5" screens or even 5.7", their physical dimensions are smaller thanks to less bezel and more screen.

The iPhone 6, size wise felt 'just right' when I had it, and that is the reason why coming new iPhone, ill be keeping a good eye on the 6 and see if they have improved the battery. I think if they pack a 3000mAh battery in there, ill be sold.

The reason I'll be switching down to 6S:
- If the battery life is on par with the 6S Plus

Reason i'll stick with the 6S Plus:
- Magically apple reduces the bezel size.
- 6S battery is not as good as the 6+/6S+.

To me camera OIS doesn't really matter, as its not that big of a deal unless your like a big photo taker, mind you, I do take good amount of pictures every year, having around 2-3K pictures on my phone just about all the time.

I've had the 6 for over a week now and I'm glad I sent the 6+ packing. I think a 5" would be perfect but the 4.7 is much better for me than the 5.5 was.

I have the 6+ and would get the i6 if I had my time again. I've had it for around four months now so am perfectly used to the size. However, it is a bit too big and heavy for a phone IMO.
The main reason I would swap is performance. The 4.7" i6 is a much smoother experience and one you would expect to get using an iPhone. The 6+ is stuttery, lags here & there and often freezes when browsing.

Battery life and loudspeaker quality for music are the things I love about it, but in all honesty that's it. The screen is ok but really, so was my iPhone 5 screen. There is nothing so wow about the screen that you can't live without it.

So, in my opinion, unless you really need a 10 hour+ battery, or a much improved loudspeaker for watching You Tube clips, then I would go for the 4.7" version if I could nip back in time.

I'm thinking of it... It's just too damn big. I like to be able to reach every corner with my thumb and I can't do it without feeling like I'm going to drop it.

Hmmm... decisions, decisions...

No, I love my 6 plus! The 6 is still just too darn small!

I was the opposite. I got a originally and immediately switched to the 6 plus at launch. Recently I grew tired of the size and switched back to the iPhone 6. Works better for me especially when driving. Everyone has different needs and different phones work better for them. That is what is so nice about choice.

I am sure there dozens of threads about this. I appreciate any advice.

So I have a 6 and I enjoy it and I always thought the plus was too big and just not usable as a normal phone. But a friend got one and I used it for an hour and it was actually nice plus the battery is a huge attraction.

How many of you have made the jump from 6 to 6 plus and stuck with it?

Any advice is welcomed. Again thanks.

I bought the 6 at launch and upgraded to the 6 Plus late November. I haven't looked back on the decision to upgrade. I have small hands and love the screen size. Battery life is terrific and I have little to no complaints!

I had a 6+ at launch and swapped it back to a 6 within the 14 day return window.

If I'm honest, I kinda wish I hadn't now.

I think part of the problem was the Spigen cases I had (a Tough Armor & another I can't remember).

There were obviously limited cases at launch and the TA was definitely too slippery and made the phone feel more awkward to hold that it probably really was.

I've since got a Quadlock case for my i6 (which ( think is superb) and every so often I think about potentially changing my 6 for a the next + in September.

Does that help!? :D

I went from an extremely well-loved iPhone 5(battery was failing, iOS wasn't really working well on it anymore despite restoring as new) to the iPhone 6 Plus. I slapped it into an Otterbox Commuter before ever leaving the store and haven't looked back since. I love the extra screen real estate and battery life.

Oh, and I also switched from VZW to T-Mobile. Best decision I ever made. I still get coverage everywhere I go and even better coverage at my work(VZW I couldn't even make a phone call from my desk, I would have to go outside to get reception) which was the deciding factor.

No chance.

I had the 5, went to a 6 and then decided I liked the Plus better. My wife got the 6+ and I got the 6. I found myself looking at her new phone much more than my 6 so I returned it for a 6+ and could never go back.

I went from the 5s to the 6 plus and after a few days i thought it was too big. Exchanged it for a 6 and it is great but i just missed the battery life too much on the plus. So ending up going back to the plus and have been happy ever since.

Going from 4" to 5.5 was just to big of a changed .. but going from 4.7 to 5.5 wasn't as shocking the second time.

After having the 6+ for around a week I offered my 6 to my daughter who handed back my old 5s a few days later. Forgive me for this but, OMG the 5s felt like a baby's toy. It was so TINY I could not believe I ever used the thing. Amazing how quickly the 6+ size became my new standard.

Exactly, now I can't believe that I used to think the Galaxy Note 2 was giant.. It looks small! The Nexus 6 is an acceptable size now, LOL. Very funny how this works out.. I am sure the OEMs had this in mind, to start small and then progressively go to bigger and then even bigger screens.

Go back to a 4/4S/3GS etc. and it's even more shocking. I was stunned.

Spigen Capsule is very thin and much more comfortable than the Tough Armor. The angles on the tough armor don't feel great on a big phone.

I got the 6 at launch and kept admiring the Plus from afar and decided to take the plunge in Jan. I've been loving the phone for the most part but decided to carry my 6 a couple of days last week and boy did it feel good to carry a smaller phone for awhile. I think a 5" phone would really be perfect. I'm going out of town tomorrow and I am seriously considering taking my 6 over the 6+ since I will have my iPad as well. The Plus is an awesome phone but it gets heavy at times. Well not heavy but noticeable.

I originally purchased the 6 but almost immediately wanted the 6+. I subsequently purchased the 6+ and tested it on a business trip/at a conference. While I loved the quality of the screen and really, really loved the battery life, I opted to stay with the 6. My primary reason was I enjoy the portability of the 6/the ability to use it one handed. I noticed when carrying work I was not comfortable texting one handed and when I was in the conference I felt the screen was big in terms of having privacy. The 6+ is an awesome product but as many have noted it is a personal preference in terms of level of comfort with the size of the phone. I have an iPad so that was also a factor for me in terms of my ultimate decision.

had the 6 for two months, 6+ for five now.

Wouldn't go back. Screen/battery/optical IS.

Dat battery doe.

On 8.1.1 jailbroken, killer

I did. The 6 plus has many positives, it is a great phone for many people out there. But I could not get comfortable with the size. It felt awkward, clumsy and just plain uncomfortable for me to use.
My iPhone 6 will doing everything the iPhone 6+ will do and I feel comfortable using it.

Not knocking the 6 Plus, it's just not for me.

I guess writing an actual word of similar length can be a complex task.

Maybe "tho" should have been used?

I've been thinking on getting the 6+ myself, but after playing with it at the VZ store, its just too big. I can see myself regretting the 6+. I have no problem with my 6 battery or any of the other cliche mentions people complain about on the 6. The 6 is just more comfortable.

At least that would actually resemble an actual language.

I have no regrets after switching to the 6 plus. You get used to the size, and the battery life and camera are fantastic.

I got the 6, because a friend of mine is using the plus but for me is too damn big :D. I could hardly fit it in my pockets :D

I got the 6 at launch day, I was really happy with it until one of my friend got a note and another one a nexus 6, I was jealous of the screen size compared to my small iPhone 6. I decided to switch to the iPhone 6 plus last week. At the Apple Store, the 6 plus didn't look too big in my hands but at home it was a different story! After one day I realized how big it was and how huge it felt and that I couldn't use and keep it my hands the way I was used to with my previous iphone. When I went outside shopping on Saturday, I realized I was stuck with the phone in my hands all the time because it is too big to fit in my pockets and I don't use a purse. Then, perhaps I'm paranoid, but when you use it in a public space I felt like everybody was looking at the 6 plus and no privacy I gave a try another day and this morning I saw the 6 plus next to my "old" 6 and I realize it is not worthy to stick with a phone that makes you uncomfortable. So I returned it to Apple this morning. It is a beautiful phone, I wanted to love it but it is not the right format for my current use.

I did the opposite. Had the 6+ since launched. After a few months decided to go with a 6. While initially it was great, I started to regret the decision. The screen and battery keeps me on the + side. Will make up my mind tomorrow.
