I joined the Nike club a couple days ago but didn't get an email to preorder and get the watch on launch day. Maybe it's only for long standing members?

I went ahead and ordered the 42mm Nike black/cool gray from Apple. It says November 14-21, but I'm guessing it'll come sooner than that at least I'm hoping it will =)

Download the Nike plus app , you can pre order threw Nike. I ordered on the 14th and I'll have it on the 28th. No need to wait a month.

I also did not get an email by Nike

Also no email from Nike.
Please can you inform us, when your CC will be charged for money? I have also delivery day 28.10. With status processing and my CC was not charged yet.

By the way we have bank holiday 28.10., so do you think, that UPS Express will deliver package, even we have holidays in my country?

Nike sent the pre order email out on oct 14th at around 5pm , I ordered as soon as I got it. They will probably charge your card closer to shipping the watch I would think. Kinda like the iPhone pre order. I can't really comment on the holiday in your country , I would guess ups may still deliver. If you order threw Nike , your order will show up in the Nike plus app , you can also pre order threw that app as well.

Here's a link if you want to order threw Nike , looks like it's still delivering on or around the 28th as well for those who have mid November dates.

What are y'all gonna be primarily using the watch for? I skip the first watch due to no gps, will be using it to keep track of runs primarily.

This will be my first Apple Watch , I'd say primarily tracking my runs , easier access to music , notifications, keeping time lol. I'm a Nike geek as well , so it'll look good with all my airmax & Nike clothing that I own.

I will primarily be using mine for reminders and planning so I can be more efficient. For fitness, I do a lot of long walking/hiking and want to keep my phone stowed away. The perforated band should be great to help with reducing sweating and discomfort.

Exactly. I want to leave my phone at home!

I've had the original watch since it was released. I primarily use it for notifications, mail, music, and messaging...which is great if I'm driving and need to reply to an urgent message ( I tell siri to dictate a message, and it sends it). I really want the new watch for swimming, and the GPS for Geocaching....

I've never had any but I'll use it for as much as things I can I'm sure about that :). Just one thing is worrying me recently because of reading a piece of news about the series 2 doesn't have a memory to save music like the series 0, has someone heard something like that? Does it mean we aren't gonna be able to listen to anything saved before???

My return is up on 10/31 for my series 2 purchased on 9/16. I went ahead and placed an Apple.com order hoping I will see movement before 10/31. I am only ordering because of the band and don't want to go a few weeks without my watch. I know Nike shows quicker shipping but I would prefer to order where I could return locally if needed.

It has the same memory as the original watch....

That's great. Thanks for your comment. So according to the website where they claim once open, they didn't find any memory like at series 0... It seems either, they're wrong or I didn't understand correctly the article.

There is still 8Gb memory on the watch, although only 2Gb of it is given to music.....

Anyone know if the Apple Store or Best Buy will let you try on an Apple Watch Nike+ that they have on display? I want to put the Flat Silver/White band on the Space Gray case and see how it looks in person. That's my ideal combo.

If I like it, I was thinking of starting a Nike+ band exchange thread so we can connect with others that want to exchange bands.

Apple Stores have them to try on, and they probably would swap the band if you ask.

They definitely let you try on the Nike+ watches. I'm not positive if they'd let you swap out bands, but I don't see why not. In fact, the Apple Store I went to the other day had one of the display models mismatched (Silver Aluminum case with Black/Volt band).

I tried on the Space Gray with Black/Cool Gray and loved it. Now I just have to wait 3 - 4 weeks =/

If you live near an Apple Store, I'd keep checking to see if in-store pickup becomes available. That's what I do when I want newly released products quick, and I'm usually able to grab one earlier than if I had waited for a preorder to be delivered.
