Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

I have had 2 departure scans in Shanghai now, one last night and one tonight. Really quite annoying thinking its on its way when it is still sitting in China.

All this stuff about parcels going all over the world is really making me want to travel though, my computer is visiting some places id love to go!

FedEx website still says "In Transit" in Indiana.... the same thing it has said since 0455 EST today.


When I check via:http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/r-packageTracker-s-fedex
it says that my MBP is "held at sort facility." What does that MEAN?

I think it means Imma havta go to Indy and whoop someone (ok, not really, but SHEEESH my impatience is getting the best of me).
 
Can anybody share the exact time they got their "Your item has shipped" e-mail from Apple?

Just curious if it happens during normal US hours, or Shanghai hours.
 
I ordered my BTO 15" 2.0 with HR screen on 2/26. Still haven't received shipping info.
 
My 15" shipped on Sunday. Fedex just attempted delivery. Will pickup at the center in an hour. :D

When I check mine on the yahoo fedex tracker it says Ontario, and released for delivery

wtf, I don't even live in Ontario. I hope this just means it cleared customs and it ready to be sent to newfoundland.

Mine said that when it left Anchorage, and for one brief moment I thought I might panic, haha.
 
ok thats a relief

there's no reason why it can't leave Ontario and fly in to st johns overnight. It's only a 3 or 4 hr flight. If it does, it will be here by Apple's estimated March 2nd delivery, not Fedex's estimated March 4th!
 
I got mine at 12:00 midday on Sunday (UK) so I would assume they are working all hours in Shanghai to get these shipments out.

I didn't think I'd ever be one of the anxious people here, but damn, this is killing me. I just want it to get moving so I can have it before I go to Florida for a week.

Yes, typically tracking updates with released or cleared in them relate to customs procedures.

Mine came late at night after 11pm.

For those of you still in Memphis maybe it's just waiting on a flight? Mine arrived in Memphis around 11 last night and left a couple hours ago.

Same here.. It's been sitting as released for delivery in mississauga since 7:03 this morning, Ontario Time. Should be no reason they can't get it out on a flight to Saskatoon... Might call FedEx tonight to see what's up...

My Macbook has just arrived in Koeln, Germany...

If "steveza"'s post of previous UPS shipping routes is anything to go by - it's looking more and more likely that the UK should be recieving their Macbook shipments tomorrow! :)
 
Mine has been stuck in Newark, NJ since last night grrr I could have gone picked it up myself already lol

My 17" BTO just cleared international shipment in Anchorage, AK. On it's way to WI, delivery by tomorrow AM!

BTW, it's 5.1kg/11.2lbs
