Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

Mine and some other are in the batch after your lot so if you get them tomorrow we should get them 2 days after that, hoping for Friday but realistically it will probably be monday!

Oh for ***** sakes, you're right - same here. What in the hell UPS!? Stop playing with my emotions. First Apple says delivery on Wednesday, then UPS says Friday, and now they miss the plane. If this doesn't arrive by the end of the week I'm going on a serious drinking rage Friday night.

Mine was stuck in Indianapolis since 5 am as well... it FINALLY left 10 minutes ago. Indianapolis is three flippin hours away.

Estimated delivery still shows 3/3.. FedEx sucks.
 
The 'international shipment release' in Anchorage was 4 hours ago. Can they get it to So. Cal. by tomorrow? Estimate says Thursday. Suspense is killing :)

Yeah mine finally got out around 530pm EST... delivery is still 3/3 as well. Boo.
 
yakz SSD

so has yakz been on to let everyone know what type of SSD it ships with? This is the only thing holding up my order, whether I should go with Apple SSD or new Intel ...
 
Ah...the time can LITERALLY not go by fast enough. I leave Tuesday to go to Florida. I get Friday off school. I only have to make it through tomorrow and Thursday but I want is to get this damn thing here.

I feel so helpless. :p
 
For anyone who was on the original shipment to Canada from Shanghai > Alaska > Indiana > Mississauga I just called FedEx and they informed me that the estimated delivery date is the latest possible time that it should be showing up, for ex, mine is supposed to be here tomorrow before 6:00 p.m., so they "say" it should be here by then

I ordered it on Friday 25th at 8pm (East time). Got the Order Acknowledgment on sunday 27 with Brooklyn NY as a destination.

But since, still pending as "not shipped yet"...(although my remote is already in Menphis)

According to the google sheet, few MBP have been shipped today march 1st... I guess a massive shippment is coming soon this evening/night ?

I haven't been charged by my bank yet, dont know if it's normal....

And my 1st MBP btw (2.2/7500rpm/HR Matte)... CHEERS !

I think you're right. A very large shipment should cover orders that were made over the weekend, after the weekend, and orders that were interrupted by the weekend. This should be tonight EST, which is mid day (certainly working hours) in Shanghai. I ordered it on the 27th.

I ordered the same setup as you (also my first Mac) I ordered at 8:06pm Eastern. Mine has been in Prepared for Shipping since this morning. I assume they will go out tonight, which is the day in China.

Went out to dinner. Got back and find out it has left Memphis and is at the destination sort facility in MD. Tomorrow before 10:30 am. Too bad I don't have the appropriate screwdriver to find out the SSD make and model.
 
I ordered a base 15" with the hi-res glossy display.

I ordered it at 12:36PM EST on 2/24/2011.

It showed up this morning at 09:30AM EST on 3/1/2011.

Same here. I ordered my MBP 15" Friday night 7:00 HST, so 6 hours after your order. Currently it's 3:20pm HST and on Apple's status website it says "Prepared For Shipment". Not sure when it will be shipped, but hopefully by tonight or tomorrow morning. Then possibly receive it on Friday??

My credit card has been charged though...

I'm in NY too. Though a little further upstate. Rockland/Westchester. I ordered sunday evening (2/27). I'm curious to see when your starts it's trek and if mine is in the batch too. I need it for a project this weekend. I should have just bought it at the darned Apple store. Oh well. Hopefully we'll see some ship conf. tonight. That's what I'm hoping for.

My card was charged literally a minute after I completed the purchase. Not sure if that has anything to do with the shipping.

Your card gets a pre-auth right after the order, but is not actually charged until the item is built (just before).
