Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

As soon as you get the Apple shipping notification email, you can go to the UPS website and track by Parcel reference (2nd Option down)http://www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_GB&WT.svl=PNRO_L1. Put the delivery reference number from the apple email in there and hey presto! What i then do is save the UPS tracking number at the top and search every 5 mins haha! Like we all do.

You can also get this from the Apple store Order Status page too.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I'm getting ">>>UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Verify your information and try again."

I'm putting in the "Our Delivery Reference Number", setting the start date to cover Monday 28th Feb when it was supposedly sent. But nada. Have also tried setting the destination country and the destination post code and still rien... :( Time to get out the dunces hat!
 
Have just spoken to Apple again, they said this time that I won't get a tracking number until it enters the UK which should be on Monday/Tuesday based on my delivery estimate of the 11th. She said that she tried to track my order on global track and trace but it is still in shipment from China and that was about all she could tell me.

At least I know its not sat in a warehouse somewhere in the UK just waiting and hopefully Monday I shall have more information :D
 
So, no one woke up at my house to sign for it and I didn't leave a pre-sign...

Luckily, the facility is 10 minutes from my place of business.

Hi, this is my first post. I've acquired a MBP 13'' CTO, but strangely, there was no email from Apple saying it was shipped,Is this usual?
Nevertheless I have the UPS track number from my order at apple store.

When did you place the order?

Apple doesn't send a shipment notification until about an hour after it actually leaves the first facility (China).

My first post too...

I think that's a load of rubbish tbh mate. I had the confirmation Email not long after placing the order and have been watching the progress (or lack of it since) my estimated delivery time is similar to yours "We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 09/03/2011" and this is how it's looking so far...

order was placed about 9:30 am GMT on Wednesday just gone (the 2nd)

Hi Lee, is your order being shipped to the UK? The only thing I can think of is as others have said I have a case coming with my laptop too so the 2 will be merged in transit somewhere so I'm not sure if thats why I can't track yet or not.

I've tried calling twice and have received the same answer both times so I don't think there is much more they are going to tell me. I will just have to sit out the weekend and pray for an early update on Monday morning.

Yes mate i'm in Essex, what date did you order yours then?

I know from following this thread that they can occasionally sit at Pudong for quite a few hours but i'm expecting mine to be in the air by now at the very least, that last status update has been like that since about 4pm yesterday. Considering your estimated date is similar to mine they coudl well be in the same shipment. I think my original estimated delivery was between the 8th and the 11th.

I'll keep this updated if you like for you so you have a rough idea unitl you get a tracking number?

That would be good if you didn't mind. I ordered mine on the 26th - Shipped on the 28th. My original dates were between the 11th-15th I believe but my order has said the 10th since yesterday. Hopefully I will be in luck and they will be sharing the same shipment and I may get mine a bit earlier :)

ITS HERE!!!!!

I am typing this on my new macbook pro 15". Cant really "play" with it until the kids are in bed......... i am trying to bribe them to go now! ;)
 
it finally arrived at anchorage this morning! now, if only a flight directly to Los Angeles would emerge soon.....in an ideal world, I'd be getting this baby TODAY!

I just ordred thurs afternoon w/ 15 inch high RES option only and wondering how long before I get it( I am in nj)
 
So this is a massive thread and I didnt feel like searching through it....but how long are peoples orders taking to fill? Just ordered mine today, and the initial estimate is March 7th-11th shipping date. Is that realistic?

Well that sounds good comparing to mine when I ordered it on Monday 28/02 and delivery got pushed back again to 18/03!

Depends of course if you ordered Custom one or standard configuration.
I'm in UK also.

Mine took 1 full week, ordered last Friday at 1:34pm and it arrived today at 2:37pm!

Pretty decent since it came all the way from China!
 
My UK order just changed to "Preparing handover to final carrier". Would Monday delivery be possible?
