Well, just think how nice it'll be waking up in the morning and checking the delivery status to read the three magic words... OUT FOR DELIVERY.
Argh, i wish apple would give me a tracking number.... they sent me an email telling me that i'll get a tracking number after 5 days 'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule' status.
Will hopefully get it in-time for my birthday on the 15th!

My UPS crisis yesterday ended with my neighbor finally coming home so I got the 27" cinema all setup...and today FedEX was out for delivery a day early! I was able to place a hold for pickup and just got back from picking it up! I have to wait until after work to play though ; (
Overall, I placed my BTO on the 5th, and got it today on the 9th. Pretty d@mn impressive!!
I will say, the packaging of all of my items has been superb. The boxes on half of these things are just as cool as the items themselves!

I'm in the same situation man! Our macbooks are probably on the same van/plane?. I called up Apple Customer Support and found out that mine is waiting in Luxembourg to clear customs and apparently after they will send a tracking number. When is your delivery date?

Probably because you ordered so far in the future that time and Apple have yet to catch up
Ordered mine March 4th (Friday) and just saw today that it has shipped out of Shanghai, landed in Osaka (??) and now departed Osaka, bound - I presume - for Anchorage.
I'm in Vancouver, BC, so I'm wondering if it will then come directly from Anchorage to Vancouver or if it will have to go on some weird circumnavigation of North America first. Oh well, Apple predicted March 14th and it looks like that will probably be the day, unless it miraculously makes it here by Friday.

My order page gives two different dates - one says between 11th and 17th March, and another page says 18th March.
Guy on phone said to me that my shipment is in "Europe" and on his PC says it will be delivered on the 11th (Friday).
I highly doubt it will arrive in UK and come to the Midlands in <48 hours!

Not that odd - sometimes they fly west to east loads based on load demand and aircraft availability.

Just ordered my first Mac ever on the first of march, and I'm so exited
It's a custom-configured 15" MacBook pro with the 2.2 Ghz i7 quad-core processor, 8 gigs of ram and the hi-res antiglare screen
Actually it's also still stuck in the Merge In Tnst CZ Pra delivery status. It officially got delivered by apple on monday the 7th, but since then the status didn't changed. I got some e-mails with different informations about the shipping, but till now, I got no tracking number, or even a transport corporation. But at least, I got 2 dates: The expected arrival is 18th march 2011, and the actual delivery staus is "on the way to the customer - shipping on-time" with the date 11th march 2011.
I got no idea what to expect from this, and I'm quite disappointed with the way apple delivers my new incredible expensive laptop. Any Ideas what's currently going on with the german apple store deliverys?
