Anyone's BTO shipped yet? What is the ship weight through the tracking #?

Couriers seem to be able to pre clear packages with customs hence the comment re waiting approval in Germany - even though package had not yet had it's departure scan in China.

Think my MacBook Air took approx 14 hrs from physically arriving in Germany before being put on a plane to the UK.

Just hope my new MBP turns up as quick as the MacBook Air did :)

Yessssss... get it here faster so I can get my blackbook up on ebay and recoup some of the cost, hah.

it would also be nice if the pilot could closely resemble michael weatherly, be single, and willing to relocate......:eek:

Hahahaha, it was me you were battling with for the map. I was wondering why someone wanted to resize the map, I'm making room for Australia right now. :)
 
15:59:00 is my departure too. We're headed for Memphis on FDX94.

Now, I need to figure if it will go to JFK, Newark, or Albany!!

Typically, stuff hits Albany and they put it on a truck North. I'm about 3.5 hours North of Albany, just shy of Canada.

Is Memphis the final destination as far as planes go? then onto the trucks from there?

Haha, I was wondering why the darn map turned to a grey box for about 30 seconds. Yup, I'm proud to be the first Aussie there :)

LOL, this reminds me of using vesseltracker (obsessively) when I ordered my car, it was built and was shipped to the US - much shorter time frame on this though! :D

I've been to the Apple store in sydney, that was awesome. I love your country/continent. haha

I ordered my 15" i7 a/g hi res. Thursday afternoon around 4:00 cat. Mine still has not made it to alaska.... :(

Curses. I was hoping for Newark directly! There's a flight that left from Anchorage to Newark about the same time as the memphis flight left.

I feel a little bittersweet about Memphis. It means that soon we'll all be going our seperate ways :(
 
Did anyone order a CTO on sunday night? If so, any shippers yet? I'm hoping to get it by weeks end. Just called Apple to up it to overnight shipping too.

Are most of these coming out of China? I wonder how overnight from China to NY works?

You will most likely get it by Friday. 2 days to get your shipment ready and 3 days to get it.
 
Ordered my CTO on Thursday.

It has left Anchorage and is enroute. Now, I live in Newfoundland, Canada. Will my MBP go to the US first or will it go straight into Canada? It would seem dumb to go from Alaska to the mid-US, then get sent to Canada.

Anyone else in Canada here?

Oh btw, they are estimating March 4 delivery with Fedex.

I hope I get it earlier. My old 2007 Macbook died last week, hence why I bought the new MBP.
