iPhone 11 Pro Anyone’s orders in “preparing to ship” yet?

I agree, one additional thought, you may not see the, “preparing to ship,” notice until next week. And even then nothing may happen until awhile later. I’ve been down this road more than once and I believe that when you get those notices seems to depend how far your phone has to be shipped. The days of the phones being shipped from the factory to you are gone. Right now there are various piles of iPhones stock piled in locations around the US. Your iPhone will come from one of those. If you live near one then your notices may come later in the week. Example: I live in east central Illinois and over the last few years my iPhones have come basically overnight from Memphis, TN. Therefore I may not see any change in status until Tuesday or Wednesday. I will however get my phone on Friday.

Also, I will not get it before Friday. Some years some people, only a handful may get theirs on say Thursday. But you could count on one hand, out of all the millions of phones shipped, all those who were lucky enough to be them early. Your chances are better playing Power Ball.

Mine the last few years still showed shipping out over the weekend and coming from China to Alaska, then across country to North Carolina. I do not think Apple Stock Piles these early, to much risk of phones getting out into hands of people if they are sitting in warehouses across the country. I anticipate seeing a tracking number show up on my FED EX or UPS app over the weekend like every other year and I will see that before Apple reflects it shipped.

A lot of folks get the "preparing to ship" really early each year, but they usually stay in that status until around 2 days before the release day or they go back to "processing" for a while.

But for those of us who have the FED EX and UPS Apps we will see our tracking numbers over the weekend as they leave China and we will see them hit the U.S way before Apple updates showing it has been shipped. I will start checking my apps this weekend expecting to see movements starting Sunday.

So how exactly can you do this? Just simply download the apps and login?

Set up a free My UPS account with UPS. I get an email whenever I'm getting a package from UPS and I can log in and see if anything is scheduled. Same with Fedex.

Just set up your home address when you log in and set up your account.

One phone ( the green 11 Pro) is preparing to ship and the other is still in processing. Considering I ordered them this morning it's pretty fast.

I’m sure mine will pending with sprint for a while. When I had Verizon I was “pending” until the Wednesday then the tracking number and deliver on Friday lol

Actually I just Checked UPS and I have a package in China now coming from AI. It is 0.60 KGS, not sure if that’s my iPhone or my watch. :)

Mine is in processing. But just like with last year, the year before that, the year before that it may not update as it should. The best way I stay sane is to go to ups.com then track by reference then enter either your phone number/email that has worked for me the longest time.

Anyone remember the iPhone 4 debacle? I had mine before the status changed from processing, and I didn’t even get the confirmation email until a week after the phone was delivered.
