iPod touch Anyone's touch shipped from Apple Online Store Yet?

mine hasn't changed from "Package data transmitted to FedEx "
 
wow only ordered mine 11.30 gmt last night and its already changed to Prepared for Shipment, fingers crossed i get it by weekend

Apparently, their intent was to ship these ones from china before or around the 18th, 10 days early according to their predicted dates, but the typhoon prevented such. darn mother nature! (but my prayers go out to those who were effected by the typhoon… my ipod can wait a couple days, the people of north korea, eastern china, and japan are more important)

I think Apple is pulling the wool over your eyes, but maybe I'm wrong, a few things I'd like to know
1) Everyone that has posted their shipping online has China as the origin. Does anyone who ordered later and received sooner have shipping information that shows it came from within the states?
2) If they were packaged and serialized before the typhoon, why didn't my order status change until last Friday especially if they have shipping labels. I work with shipping and the minute you print a FedEx label the tracking number shows the data has been received so at that time Apple should sent out shipping notice, and then when it didn't come explained the hold up.
3) They haven't stopped shipping to stores in the US at least not until after the 22nd because some Best Buys and CostCos around me had them in stock over the weekend.
 
this sucks, was just about to cancel mine and buy it on friday from the london apple store but now its prepped for shipment i knew i shudda cancelled it yesterday, i rang them and they said they cant cancel it as its on the way to the shipping centre which sounds good but i have delivery date of 4-5 oct, anyone else in UK know how long the shipping will take?
 
Just ordered mine. After I placed my order I noticed that it says "Ships: 7-10 business days". This sucks.

Well I guess I missed that. I know that they shipped from China to the states, but I thought they normally go to a processing point in the states to be shipped from. I just got confirmation that my iPod Touch is shipping directly from China to my house here in Japan.
 
Hopefully this "shipping from China" stuff doesn't take too long...

I recieved a shipped/"Package Data transmitted to FedEx" notification Tuesday morning, saying FedEx got the package at 3AM. I'm slotted for a 2-3 business day delivery, but since these things are shipping from China, I'm afraid I might have to wait a bit longer. :( Right now, I'm thinking,"Friday?"... Hopefully.

Yepp, I don't think they have their stocks built up in other countries yet
