iPod touch Anyone's touch shipped from Apple Online Store Yet?

Mine also arrived this morning. I was pleasantly surprised since Fedex told me it wouldn't even make it to Georgia until Sunday. I was especially surprised since I ordered on Monday. Apple has really messed up for all of the people who preordered earlier in the month and their package is still sitting in China.
Wow, getting pissed off now. Not shipping on the 28th is one thing, but they don't even update the shipping dates...
Two more hours and it's the 29th over here. ><
Sweet, it shipped according to the order status (got an email too). Hope it really does get sent out now, just got a feeling it might not make the etimated delivary date (oct 5th) because of all the typhoon/fedex stuff (even though i got TNT as a carrier).

Anyone get this message from Fedex??? Keep in mind I ordered sept 12th, What the friggin hell!!!!!!!!!!

Well, until I hear from other people about the shiiping delay to Nov 5th, it may just be my friend messin with me, he did sumthin liek this to me before, he knows how to doctor emails and stuff. My Fedex status says its in transit from Indianpolis, so I have my fingers crossed. Otherwise I will just go to apple store and buy one now and get reinbursed for my unopened ipod touch Nov 5th. It sounds like there are plenty ipod touches to go around, I really don't think there's a backorder

I checked the sender details, it says fedex invoice, but this kid knows how to doctor emails liek I said. It better be BS, but if its not, I am just gonna buy my ipod touch today, and sell my other one when it arrives. I'm sick of waiting for it
Yes, mine's "prepared for shipment" since tuesday; really don't like what apple's doing because i can't cancel the order anymore and go to a shop nearby... well. I guess we just have to wait. (just think of it: the world can be pretty good without the iPT too..)
Mine shipped yesterday, its a week 39. Its weird since the estimated delivery date at the moment of ordering was 1-2 october. Then it changed to 3-4 october once it went into prepared for shipment status. Then yesterday it shipped and it said it would be delivered on october 5th. Few minutes ago I looked at the shipment status again and it said october 2nd all of a sudden. 
Ah well, not complaining, its just a bit odd.

You should call and complain thats what I did they gave me 150 credit to the online store.

Well, maybe one was an apple estimate, the other the fedex/TNT/ups.. estimate - all in all better than the "ships on sept. 28th" i'm getting
SHipping delay Nov 5th
If anyone gets that ipod touch shipping delay to Nov 5th email let me know. Sounds like someone is just messin with me, better be the case. I ordered mine Sept 12th, shipped 25th, and today received email rom Fedex saying they are backordered, won't arrive till Nov 5th. Anyone else get an email liek that?

You could check the email header, there you should be given the host the mail was sent from - maybe that'll give you the answer.

A fedex email would most certainly come from an @fedex.com address; and it seems to me that inbox.com is a random freemail provier, thus not to be believed.
Yeah I agree. Believe me, when I first saw the email I totally freaked. Once I caught my bearings and saw that nobody else got the email I felt better. I am gonna get my friend back soooooooo friggin good. Any ideas what I should do?

Okay, well, let me put it to you this way:
I ordered my iPT less than 2-3 weeks ago. MY order status changed 6 times in 2 DAYS! It went from not yet shipped, to prepared, then back and forth again, until finally it has been stuck on "Prepared for Shipment" for two days. One lady I called didn't even know about any delays. The last guy I called was very polite, and told me that the problem is with the typhoon, as everybody knows. He said that over the past few hours(this was around 10:00 PM EST, Yesterday) that more and more orders were shipping from CHINA. China is only shipping ones that are engraved or are special order. So, if yours is engraved or fits the crtiteria, you may have to wait a little while longer. On the OTHER hand, Apple really isn't messing up the pre-orders, because those that were ordered PLAIN, are being shipped from pre-stocked warehouses in the U.S. Tha Rep said that it should ship on the 28th(a "strong possibility", but he said the biggest thing was just tracking it with the # provided. So I am pissed, and if it doesn't ship by today, I am going to call and exploded on someone. ONTOP of that my order status is STILL September 28th. Tell me how you did THAT Apple.! And even if some are shipping, its still BS. I am going to call and demand compensation.
