Has anyone with this issue contacted Apple for support, just an idea...

I've been on the phone for the past 10mins or so, and no luck so far.
Been going thru the usual sign in/out, reset, etc.

Looks like even customer support that I've been on the phone with just became aware of it being an emerging problem. I was basically told that we're left at the mercy of how fast Apple gets the issue resolved, and ended the call at that. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done at the moment.

Yeap same problem - You can update apps by pressing cancel - but cannot download or buy anything new. Dam it !!!. I have tried the reboot/software update & log in & log out all to no avail. Looks like a backend problem.

How could this happen!? I am on the eternal loop as well here in IRELAND!

Threy said its now apple priority but they dont now how long its gonna take to sort out this problem!
 
Glad it's not only me cause I just bought a used iphone today, and this problem occured. Was afraid something was wrong with the phone.
 
I managed to break that loop lol

I click ‘get’

Click ok

Click cancel

Keep repeating this until the app starts to download

One of the app I had to do it like 5x before it started to download
 
lol..Good way to force the customer to read.. "But I've read it like, 20 times already. Now, i just wanna move on."
 
Started happening on my daughter's iPad and iPhone today (both with the same account). Have spent 3 hours trying to fix this now, including a complete wipe of the phone. What a complete and utter joke!

Sometimes I wonder what jobs you guys have that allows you guys to spend so much time restoring phones over every little issue on a weekday...

I’ve had three separate clients who’s credit card has been declined.. these are high limit cc without anything on them that have been used for a long time to pay for products.. I give up calling Apple support because... wellll.
 
No problems here.

Thank GOD! I told my wife “if this effects an-apple-a-day, I don’t think I’ll be able to go on.”

If you could post every 10 seconds, that you still are not having problems, i’d appreciate it. Other people go on and on and blah blah about their issues ... but as long as you’re okay, I’m okay.
