Every new iPhone gains Apple more users, but a smaller number finds the new design unacceptable for some reason. Apple understands that it can't please everyone. So long as they end up in more hands than ever before, they won't sweat losing yours.

I don't recall such huge negativity about any other previous iPhone (except 5c and we all know they didn't sell good enough).
We didn't see huge disappointment with previous models because they are excellent almost perfectly designed devices.
This one lacks in design and it's not opinion of a few minority.so maybe Apple do sweat after all.
Still these assumptions are based on leaks,we have to wait for the real product and see.

Well, its fake. You can buy this replica on the internet. It look like it, but if you look the details, just like the people above, you can clearly see that something is not right.

iPhone 6 clones have a much lower resolution screen, have crude finition, are made of plastic, no two tones flash, and the display is not seemingly integrated with the body like this device.

Of course, that could be a new improved fake, but I doubt it.

Just asking, what do you think about the slightly protruding camera lens?

I guess it's OK since I use a case, but I think it's unnecessary. iPhone pictures are good enough to the point that you don't need to sacrifice form for function.

People freaked out, exactly like this, when the leaks of the iPhone 5 started coming out. And same thing with the 4/4s. This time is no different. And then, people come to love the designs.

I'm sure they'll look better IRL than on any leaked photo we've seen. But I'd love to know why they have to be that thick and why they have to outline the top and bottom edge of the phone vs being one thin line across.

At one point I wondered if the bands were thicker because they had antenna wire embedded in them, but no evidence of this has emerged. As for why there are two of them at each end, it's possible that the insert panel is coupled to internal antennas and thus requires full isolation. Neither explanation is complete, but we'll know soon enough. Right now, it's satisfying that the new design is starting to "take", making the 5/5S appear dated to me.

Generally it seems the resolution isn't 3x, which is pretty disappointing IMO. You can see in the App Store screenshot pixels barely visible. That's not 3x for sure, hopefully the 5.5 inch is, same res would look pretty bad on such a large screen.

Are people always this ignorant? You can see pixels from these low res photo?

Fake! The video shows the top icon row under the menubar. In iOS 8, there is clearly more room.

Edit: this is just before full unlocking, but even then they are still higher than they should be.

Will screen protectors fit?

Now that I see the subtle curve on the edge of the front glass, I wonder if any screen protector will fit properly. Or will they have to end before the curvature starts?

How can I tell? The speaker and microphone circles are not exactly perfectly round. Also, the screws are a little off. Can't fool me.

To be honest I think iOS is going to be even better to use on a bigger display, it feels cluttered on the 5/5S to me and I love how spread out and comfortable to use on an iPad, so it looking to comfortable spread out on the potential iPhone 6, I think it's going to be a major leap for the operating system, I'm extremely excited

and people saying this phone is huge must be tiny little asian girls. a 4.7 now is on the smaller starting size for a smartphone. they can go up to 6 or 6.4 in sony xperias case. 4.7 is just right and if it doesnt easily fit in a guys pocket then stop wearing tight skinny jeans you metrosexual weirdo.. a guy needs room down there and if u don't well then maybe ExtenZe can help
