The design is too conservative imo. Aesthetically. Like Apple are more concerned with reigning in the design to be more consistent with, say, the iPad Air, than trying to push any boundaries.

I would take this one with a bag of salt. I really can't see someone actually leaking something while showing who they are in the video... Yes, the iPhone 6 is going to look very much like this, but don't trust that it's completely genuine.
For the love of all that is good... it is "grain of salt"...

I guess we'll see in a few days how genuine it is. Either way, I'm excited.

This is the real deal...take a look at that video of the camera app, has the new exposure setting

Is there anyone in this thread who isn't going to buy an iPhone 6 regardless of what it looks like? Come on, stop BSing, you know you will. :p

Unless someone installed it. I don't know what the software version has to do with anything hardware. And are we even sure what version it is, just from the gradients on some not so good photos? It also has a new screen, so who knows how the colors will look like.

That isn't possible. You can only install versions of iOS that are being signed (7.1.2 is highest right now), of and beta 3 of iOS 7 expired a long time ago.

iOS can only run on devices it is designed to run on, so for 7 the iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c and 5s are the only phones that have a working version of it.

When I first saw the pictures, I was almost positive this was real. Looking now, I don't think so. Why? The location of the headpiece, front camera, and proximity sensor. Notice on the 5s, the space between the bottom of the headpiece and top of the LCD is almost the same, if not equal to, the space between the top of the camera and the top of the glass. The 6's spacing is way off in this respect. IMO, the official model might have the same size of bezel, however I think the components will be more centered.

For the love of god, why does he swipe to the second page and back again in EVERY video.. Wasted time.

If this is real, I'm really curious to see if that is truly yet another row at the bottom or if the icons will be spaced out

Design still to conservative

Where is the edge-to-edge display design?
What is the ugly separating lines on back?
Where is really thin bezel?

I would expect more design progression:(

O

Why are the side bezels there? What functional purpose do large side bezels serve versus thin ones?

If you go back and look at the empty case image leaks, you will see heavy duty lugs for mounting the side switches, sim tray and buttons. My guess is these structural characteristics would conflict with an edge to edge display, hence bezels.

A reddit user made a gif superimposing the feld & volk leak over this one with a fade.

How can this not be real?

I think we can all be positive that this is not Android with a skin but a real version of iOS right? How can iOS run on a fake phone? It can't.

If this is not what ends up in the store, it's because it may be an early prototype. But it's real.

So even if you have to charge your phone every 2 hours you're ok with that because it is at least thinner?

I definitely wouldn't be OK with that tradeoff. But I think you know Apple wouldn't consider it either because a great experience always has to be part of the overall package.

Possible, but you can't tell, this could just be video from a 5s enlarged.

Seen one in space grey and it looks much better than the hideous white. Would still like the bezels to be smaller; almost edge to edge. Siiigh! Now the great preponderance as to whether to wait for next year's 6S.

To be honest, I have the new Motorola Moto X as a quick alternative, if the iphone6 sucks. But I really doubt it

How would someone install iOS 7 beta on an iPhone 6??
How hard can it be? Compared to building a complete fake still believable iPhone 6 clone, presumably build from Android parts which still run some form of iOS 7 beta 3.

Whenever there is a new iPhone design prematurely revealed to the public, some people insist it must be fake. I remember vividly: "Apple would never build an iPhone 4 with such ugly slits." But then who else would build this thing with its worlds first 960 × 640 Pixel (326 ppi) to become known as Retina screen?

Of course this must be Apples hardware, no matter what software it runs.

That isn't possible. You can only install versions of iOS that are being signed (7.1.2 is highest right now), of and beta 3 of iOS 7 expired a long time ago.
Now you have proved, this genuine iPhone 6 is not running iOS 7 beta 3. :p

I actually like it, the antenna bands are growing on me, will have to see it on the keynote to decide which colour I am going to go for..

No, because then everything would be bigger. In this video, everything has the exact same size on a bigger screen.

not feeling how spaced out home screen is. there could easily be 5 icons across

I don't think this is real, the OS at least. The spacing of the icons is not what I'd expect from Apple. The vertical spacing has been kept the same, the horizontal spacing has been increased, and the spacing on the top is too tight. When Apple increased the spacing for the iPad, it did so in a better distributed way. Six rows is too much, too. If the iPad doesn't have six rows, why would the phone? And also, that music icon.

The spacing on the top is already quite tight on the iPhone 5 and 5S. There's little if any difference in the top spacing with the iPhone 6.

The Music icon does appear slightly odd, but I'm putting it down to the camera it was shot with.

At one point I wondered if the bands were thicker because they had antenna wire embedded in them, but no evidence of this has emerged. As for why there are two of them at each end, it's possible that the insert panel is coupled to internal antennas and thus requires full isolation. Neither explanation is complete, but we'll know soon enough. Right now, it's satisfying that the new design is starting to "take", making the 5/5S appear dated to me.

2 antenna is for the MIMO required by the new 650 mbps ac wifi chip.

Ugliest, none invotative, weird proportions iphone ever.
The ios looks weird on it. Remind me of the joke someone draw once in this forum, of a massive long iphone.
Ugly ugly ugly.

It seems apple focused most of its power on the iwatch.
