The design is too conservative imo. Aesthetically. Like Apple are more concerned with reigning in the design to be more consistent with, say, the iPad Air, than trying to push any boundaries.
For the love of all that is good... it is "grain of salt"...I would take this one with a bag of salt. I really can't see someone actually leaking something while showing who they are in the video... Yes, the iPhone 6 is going to look very much like this, but don't trust that it's completely genuine.
Unless someone installed it. I don't know what the software version has to do with anything hardware. And are we even sure what version it is, just from the gradients on some not so good photos? It also has a new screen, so who knows how the colors will look like.
Why are the side bezels there? What functional purpose do large side bezels serve versus thin ones?
How can this not be real? When I first saw the pictures, I was almost positive this was real. Looking now, I don't think so. Why? The location of the headpiece, front camera, and proximity sensor. Notice on the 5s, the space between the bottom of the headpiece and top of the LCD is almost the same, if not equal to, the space between the top of the camera and the top of the glass. The 6's spacing is way off in this respect. IMO, the official model might have the same size of bezel, however I think the components will be more centered.
You're in for a real treat when you see the iPhone 7 & 8!

So even if you have to charge your phone every 2 hours you're ok with that because it is at least thinner?
How can this not be real?
I think we can all be positive that this is not Android with a skin but a real version of iOS right? How can iOS run on a fake phone? It can't.
If this is not what ends up in the store, it's because it may be an early prototype. But it's real.
Is there anyone in this thread who isn't going to buy an iPhone 6 regardless of what it looks like? Come on, stop BSing, you know you will.![]()
How hard can it be? Compared to building a complete fake still believable iPhone 6 clone, presumably build from Android parts which still run some form of iOS 7 beta 3.How would someone install iOS 7 beta on an iPhone 6??
Now you have proved, this genuine iPhone 6 is not running iOS 7 beta 3.That isn't possible. You can only install versions of iOS that are being signed (7.1.2 is highest right now), of and beta 3 of iOS 7 expired a long time ago.
No, because then everything would be bigger. In this video, everything has the exact same size on a bigger screen.Possible, but you can't tell, this could just be video from a 5s enlarged.
not feeling how spaced out home screen is. there could easily be 5 icons across
I don't think this is real, the OS at least. The spacing of the icons is not what I'd expect from Apple. The vertical spacing has been kept the same, the horizontal spacing has been increased, and the spacing on the top is too tight. When Apple increased the spacing for the iPad, it did so in a better distributed way. Six rows is too much, too. If the iPad doesn't have six rows, why would the phone? And also, that music icon.

At one point I wondered if the bands were thicker because they had antenna wire embedded in them, but no evidence of this has emerged. As for why there are two of them at each end, it's possible that the insert panel is coupled to internal antennas and thus requires full isolation. Neither explanation is complete, but we'll know soon enough. Right now, it's satisfying that the new design is starting to "take", making the 5/5S appear dated to me.
If this is what the iPhone 6 looks like I will NOT buy it. Those ugly thick antennas and pertruding make the phone hideous and my hands are too small for this screensize anyway
