That bezel needs to be thinner from the sides and the top/bottom. They fckd that up again.

So, is apple going to convince clothing manufacturers to add pockets to women's clothes that are actually big enough to hold this monstrosity? Am I going to have to buy a whole new wardrobe to hold my damn phone?

You're clearly male. Women don't have pockets in their clothes, except maybe jeans. It has to fit in a handbag, that's all that matters for a majority of women.

Personally, I don't want a bigger phone, the 5S is on the verge of too large for me. I need one handed use.

Looks like more of the same. I am really getting tired of iOS.

I guess I can at least off my iPad mini, since I don't need a mini iPad mini and an iPad mini.

Not sure if anyone has commented/noticed. But different color antenna bands on the top and bottom? The bottom looks more gray whereas the top is light-gray to white in color. Seems like an odd thing to do.

It's just an optical illusion because the light falls on the bottom of the back, making the steel brighter than the top. This way the gray on bottom band looks darker even though it's the same gray as the top band.

The gray boxes are exactly the same color. Just the different background colors that tricks your eye.

Ugliest, none invotative, weird proportions iphone ever.
I know, but you people all wanted a bigger iPhone. Or else you threatened to switch to Android. If it doesn't happen this year, I'm gone. I said, a phone must be hand-sized and any bigger isn't better, its worse. But we were in a minority. Here you have it – your Apple iPhablet. Enjoy!

And be careful what you wish for (next time).

Fake Picture

The clock "icon" for the supposed iPhone looks off as the minute and seconds hand reach almost the edge. So, I would question the authenticity of the picture.

Here's a "preview" picture from Apple's iOS 8 website:

Also, the back picture also seems to be contradicting something that happened a few months ago, ie. FCC no longer requiring the FCC code on the back. Why would Apple put that there if they don't need to anymore?

However, the iPhone 5s in the pictures is real though. :)

I really hope you can put five apps in that dock. Also, I hope the larger screen will open up the option for a landscape screen rotation lock.

Then keep your 5S?

Above and below the screen need shrunk.... I don't know why apple keeps them so large, which add to the size of the device unnecessarily. I get they wont get rid of the physical home button as they have made touch ID a selling point.... but most 4.7 inch devices are not so bulbous.

Apple love to get thinner.... but they need to trim the other way

Looks pretty good. However the exterior design is not all that important to me. The bigger questions are what new things it brings to the table in terms of user experience and features.

Being the same as a iPhone 5S but just bigger isn't all that exciting to me.

It's probably fake. Look at the video where he unlocks it via TouchID.

If you look closely, a password is being entered very quickly (he probably entered the password, and cut the video).

That's why he swiped over to unlock the phone via password first. Because he can't cut the video seamlessly unless he did that.

But they are improving resolution? The same 326 ppi screen would yield a higher resolution on a larger display, while still being 'retina' according to Apple.

I'm not sure what you're analogy is at the end - but if you have two screens with the same ppi but different sizes, all the content will be the same size but showing much more.

Poor analogy on my part, sorry, I couldn't think of one on the fly. I was basically trying to state that a 37" 480P image (let's say photo) would be stretched out when enlarged to 55", thus showing a pixelated image. If the 4.7" and 5.5" displays aren't increasing their resolution enough, icons and images may seem less "crisp". Based on some of the rumors, there isn't any current support to suggest Apple plans on bumping the display specs to the same level as Samsung and other mobile device manufacturers, something they've gotten slack for already. :)

He has a working model of the new iPhone and he didn't bother checking foto/camera resolution and other stuff he could share ? Sounds fishy to me. Only 3 Days and we'll see.

Well that's because they kind of are ugly. Though I'm still more concerned about how thick, especially the top and bottom, damn bezels are still. the length of this phone is what makes it so awkward.

I know they want the fingerprint scanner but I think I'd rather trade that in for smaller bezels. I don't mind not having a lock or using a code to unlock but that's just me.

Completely agree

It will be exactly the same as the iPhone 5S if you ignore the ways it is different.

Remember when the iPhone 5 was released, a few people claimed (loudly) that they couldn't see any difference between it and the iPhone 4S.

Bands on the back look 100x better than the mockups. I also think the back of the 6 looks better than the 5 & 5s.

The top and bottom of the front plate would be better if they were half they size...

How can you say that? Do you have any numbers to support your claim? For my part I have NEVER ever seen anybody holding a 5c. I only know of a friend who bought one, and that's it. So I think it's safer to say it did not sell well, trusting my own eyes more than Apple's PR department. Am I wrong in doing so?

Yes you are wrong. Did you click the link I provided that gave some data on the subject. Just because the people you interact with don't use the 5C doesn't make it an accurate representation of the phone sales in the US or worldwide. I have seen many people using it so if we are using anecdotal observations as evidence I can say it is a fantastic seller.

It's like in the church, the more you repeat it, the more you believe it.

Haha good one, do you also turn into a tree when you die? If you've seen any of the leaked screen assembly's they don't match up with that phone in the video. The bezels on the sides and top/bottom will be smaller.
