mmmm

So you went looking for them and complained when you found them? Do you also read book and movie spoilers then complain about knowing the story?

I like hearing about the device and software before release, not that all info is factual, because it gives some perspective when the RDF is turned up to 11 at launch.

I didn't go looking for it, it was staring at me when I visited this site. I visit this site for technical articles as well.

This design is unacceptable, it's ugly and no one can argue about that fact. :(
Let's argue about that fact. I think the rounded edges fit such a large phone and will grow on people. Because of its thinness the phone would be hard to hold, should the edges design have stayed the same. But with rounded edges you can reach around the phone comfortably and have it in a tight grip. I do love the new speaker grill, only one line of dots. And I like that the glass inlays on the backside are gone. Not so sure about the relocated Power button, however.

This new iPhone is nicer than its predecessor, which by now doesn't even look like its own design. The iPhone 5 was just a deformed iPhone 4. But this is the first really new design, since 2010 when some unlucky fellow left his iPhone in a bar.

I will just throw this out there but

Don't you guys find it weird that, he never booted up the device

(Because if he did we could have done a boot up time test for comparison
)

Fake or not, I wish Apple would move away from the grid of icons, or at least allow them to be put into a drawer or something. It just seems so antiquated.

You forgot to "argue" about it's main design flaws though.;) while I'm not a fan of it's rounded edges,I could live with that part if the rest of the phone was designed elegantly. however as majority of posters have already mentioned,it's those un-matching,thick white rubber bands and that ridiculous protruding camera lens that makes the design unacceptable and ugly.

Nice rant, about not ranting. ;)

Have we nothing more to discuss about the iPhone?
That's boring Apple, I had higher expectations on you.

You won't provoke an argument - I'm not going to get tangled up in time sucking debates with strangers. Have a lovely day, God bless :)

Not happening this year, I doubt it would ever happen, but then again I doubted Apple would ever allow 3rd party keyboards, so...

I would expect iOS 9 to bring some more changes we doubted would ever come to iOS, there is always a possibility for them to change the way the grid of icons work in the future.

Yes the Sony Z3's design easily owns this stupid and ugly design.heck even the Galaxy S5's design is superior to this mess (and I hated Samsung designs) I will consider either Sony Z3 or HTC M8 maybe even Note 4 to upgrade my 4s.

The iPhone 4S is still one of the best looking smartphones out there. Maybe thats why I love the Xperia Z Design Language. It resembles the glass surfaces so well...

Yeah it's the reason I left the iPhone after the 3G. It's probably a stupid complaint but I like seeing my entire wallpaper and editing my homescreen on my android devices that I've owned.

That being said, I don't mind it as much on the iPad, and that's most probably because of the bigger screen.

The alleged picture of the gold one looks quite gorgeous, in stark contrast to the silver one.

Why change for changes sake? What do you think folders are for? The wheel is VERY antiquated as a concept, but it works well, and triangular wheels? Not so well.

Well I guess it's because I've seen how well the out of the box customization of Android works. Android is not the triangular wheel. It's a marked improvement to the iOS homescreen in my opinion. Of course, some people like the grid of icons, but I wish Apple gave us the choice. I think iOS is a far more polished OS than Android, but it's the little things that irk me that made me move to Android for my smartphone.

iOS isn't Android though. I do understand what you mean, but don't expect Apple to copy *everything* Android phones have, just because they have it :)

Apple don't tend to go overboard on too much choice - choice is a double-edged sword, and having too many options or methods can - and does confuse many people. One way done well is best, in Apple's view, and I tend to agree with them.

Oh no I know iOS isn't Android. Like I said, I think iOS is the better overall OS. But sometimes Apple should copy :D. It's refreshing to be able to do what you want with your homescreen. Still, I have no intention of ever buying anything other than an iPad for my tablets, but I'll probably stick with android for my phones.

I don't think the rubber bands are as ugly as the glas inlays were. The color matching may as well have improved, because the rubber bands replaced the miss colored inlays. I don't see a problem there. And I don't mind the protruding camera as much as I hate that the camera isn't properly placed in its corner, as it still was on the iPhone 4S. But the phones main design flaw is the iOS 7 UI and I know I can't (make them) change that.
