Somebody made a reference to how the opinion of how the iWatch looks will change once it was released in the thread about designers being invited to the iPhone announcement. Just a heads up. :D

Sorry, there's just no way Apple is pulling THAT thing out of the bag on Tuesday. Ive would never approve that hideous stripey back with a bulging camera. Not happening. It's such a step down from the 5S it's cringeworthy! For once the leaks aren't quite right.

I'd be alright if this was the actual phone. It looks like the camera and prox sensor were switched around too, which is good. I just wish there was a serial number for that device!!

People also thought Apple would never release the iPhone 4 with those odd, ugly slits in the frame but they did anyway.

I don't know. Not feeling the design. The bands just make it look cheapish. Also why are the bezels still giant. This is 2014, is it not?

I'm not picking on you, specifically...but this un-sanity needs to stop people.

This is it. Deal. Now...lets talk tech:

• You cannot make a phone that is fully incased in aluminum.
• This "bezels" nonsense is just that. Just...stop it. Touch ID - requires a camera and an inductive ring to activate. Or would you like it on the back? (groan)
• I have a 5s full of ugly micro-cracks because glass bands on the back. Apple learns. You should too. I don't buy these things to hide them in a case...I'm "unpoor" and can replace or just give it to someone when next year's model comes out. Don't be a snob if you can't pay full retail, unlocked. It just makes you a poseur.
• Apple does not, has not, and will not design the 'Fantasy Device' that you fap off to in your dreams. There is a thing called Engineering, which is limited by physics
• Let me make sure I am *crystal clear* on this: Apple actually figures out how to make an iPhone that is damned near as thin as an iPod touch that presumably has enough juice to keep a cell radio (huge, huge power drain btw) going long enough to be useful...something folks have been 'if only'-ing about for years...and you are crying? My GOD.

I am *far* from an apologist...I make my actual living deep, deep in the AAPL ecosystem and have been screwed painfully, no vaseline, no reach-around by 'Big Fruit' on more than one occasion...but it has gotten to the point now where this current gen of Middle-class wannabe snobs that are 'Apple Loyal' have effectively lost their goddamned minds. Have you seen Mountain View's plasticky 'flagship'? When was the last time any of you picked up the "brick" that is a 4/4s?

Have some damned perspective, people. Just...WOW.

People back in the day used to rely on Apple doing this to "prove" a leak's legit. These days, apple leaks so much intentionally and the supply chain is so broad, they know better. The only way to have a true surprise in the global econ is to only build like...5...announce, then ramp up and ship.

I don't understand your meaning? I don't see anything wrong with the iphone 4/4s. I'm mostly excited for the iphone 6 so i can buy used 5s' s for cheaper. I'm also, as you say "un-poor" (good expression btw) but i don't get riled up for the same things. I guess it depends how you use it, but I don't care how "exciting" the user experience is, or if its too stale, etc. I just want whatever device works the most often and the most consistently. For me that is iOS. Its not perfect and certainly android has it beat it several whizz-bang features but I want it to work consistently and fit in my pocket (since its a phone). So already the iphone 6 has lost its way for me. It wasn't always like this, people USED to want smaller pocket electronics. Why people want them bigger to the point it forces them to include a special "one hand mode" feels like a step backward to me.

That said I'm sure the performance and specs will be amazing. I always thought it was crazy how the 5s bench marked when you saw its size and battery life compared to the competition. Remove that barrier and I think the iPhone 6 is going to be an insane powerhouse!
