So I'm sure, if you study the menu of the phones, there will be WiFi connections there.
Nope. There is no menu bar when in Facetime.

Now Apple should make an ad in which both the AT&T and Verizon iPhone are on a call and trying to load maps at the same time...FAIL

We have a winner!
I routinely use my GPS and Google maps at the SAME TIME while in a call on my Droid. Voice does not interfere with GPS on Verizon.

I'd like to see a real test and Apple better know it.
There will be HUNDREDS of REAL Demo's of speed coming soon,so...
Look out Verizon .
I Dislike AT&T but hate lies more
The iPhone was not the original smartphone. Palm Treo existed way before that. The first media/touchscreen smartphone? NO.

Lol but which has better service?
At 8 seconds it's the AT&T iPhone. Nice try. It'd actually be slower on Verizon but more likely to load.

It depends on the location of the user, for some AT&T is superior, for others Verizon is superior, as for me, well, you get the point, right?![]()
I liked it, but yeah, Verizon probably won't allow facetime over 3g either.
My guess would be that they allow Facetime over 3G to counter AT&T's boast that Verizon can't do data and a call simultaneously.

I meant in regards to the pics you posted. Seems like Verizon beat out AT&T.

Well, you're wrong, verizon probably had all these towers next to the building they were in
You mean, Apple is pro "race-mixin'?" Well, yes.
Doesn't FaceTime open a data connection for the video portion of the call? If that's so, since you cannot use data and voice simultaneously on EVDO, FaceTime isn't even possible on Verizon's network.
