Nop, just hooked to iTunes, hit "Check for Update" and it told me 4.0.1 was out. Just downloaded it. Took me 2 minutes.

Connect your phone to itunes (via computer) and it should say a new update is available for your phone.

I just got home & when I connected my phone it prompted the upgrade screen.
