I thought Apple products didn't require a user manual to operate because they were so intuitive and easy to pickup. Now we have whole webpages to guide us through operating the Apple Watch? :smh:

This is the most exciting thing Apple has ever put on sale! It's worth far more than they're charging, and I can't wait to get mine. I'll be pre-ordering at least 10! Two for me, Two for my wife, one for each of my kids, one for both of my parents, and one for each for my in laws. I'll probably end up picking up an Edition model, at some point, but I haven't quite made up my mind on that one.

I've also picked up some stock recently as well, as I'm confident this will end up being bigger than the iPhone, iPad, and iPod put together. Some people just aren't realizing how many have never worn a watch, and what a sensation these will be.

There were guided tours for iPhone.

I am so excited for the 10th. But I'm also dreading the period from the 10th thru the 23rd. Hate the wait after preorder!!

I'm dreading the 24th even more... I'll be pacing back and forth by the door all day waiting for the FedEx guy. Hopefully he'll come early.

I feel inadequte cause I can't afford an Apple Watch. I should Apple for making me emotionally distraught.

I am not sure if I'm going to buy one yet as I prefer a round watch, but I have to admit the UI is awesome!

I own Apple stock so I'm hoping for a BIG opening weekend!! ;)

i'm sensing a little sarcasm in this post....

I think you're confusing videos that show feautres of their new product category vs video manuals.

No he/she's forgetting (perhaps intentionally) that iPhone also had guided tours. It makes total sense for Apple to do this. I'm already seeing tweets from people who were uninterested or on the fence who want one now. Part tutorial, part marketing. Brilliant.

haha, I find it funny and weird at the same time hearing voice overs of people OTHER than Johnny. Kinda threw me off a bit :p

Thank god they didn't use Ive's voice. He sound so depressing and adds pointless words to his sentences to pad them out.

Apple panic sets in

Watching this train wreck gets better by the hour !!
Apple Flop 2015 !!!

One thing I don't understand is why you'd need to push the digital crown to finish customizing the face. Pressing the crown should never act as an "enter" button like the iPod. That could make for a very confusing UX.

Instead, they should just add a 4th screen with options to keep the changes or to cancel.

It's really cool to see that these videos make the distinction between Force Touch and long pressing; you can perform a Force Touch in the same amount of time you do a regular tap (you just use more force, as the name implies).

For whatever reason, most of the "first impressions" videos show a long press for Force Touch when it's not needed.

Agreed, or use force touch to finish. I think it'll take a few months for developers and apple to figure out a basic outline for interaction. None the less, I'm excited :D.

I found the iPod nano 6th Gen very hard to use with my big fingers. This watch is looking too similar to it for my liking.

Still think the whole "Faces" thing is pretty rubbish :(

And I quote:

Watch Faces:

"It's easy to make yours look HOWEVER YOU WANT"

Err, no it's not. We can pick from a small selection of only the ones you supply.
And WOW I can change the colour of the second hand OMG!

I know they won't let users make their own faces and REALLY allow you the user to "make yours look however you want"

But we must all be expecting officially approved watch faces to be up for sale pretty quick.
These built in ones are going to get real old, real quick, and all look pretty dull compared to what can be done

The stainless steel watch with the white Sport band looks very nice.

Now to convince myself that it's worth the extra £180 over a Sport watch...

Darn it, Apple, I was watching your guided tour video and my iPhone 6 was plugged in next to it... well.. this happened.
