Apple and AT&T Websites Get Ready for iPhone 5 Pre-Orders

How did you get the website to work? I'm going to do it there (opposed trough the App) because I get Cashback when I shop through Discover...but the Apple website still says "We'll be back."
 
Just ordered 2 from Apple's site. Only thing was that it wouldn't let me upgrade 2 phones on the same order? I had to do 2 completely 2 separate orders for our family plan phones.
 
Victory at last! The App was complete **** for me from Canada. Website was pretty painless though! Much better than last year. Back to bed kids... /goodnight
 
Preordered via Apple.com, boy the unlocked versions here in Germany got way more expensive... €899 for 64Gb unlocked :eek:
 
Apple store still down, but sucessfully ordered a White and Black 16GB VZW for my wife and I. Back to sleep I go!
 
hmm says $36 activation fee, but i'm under my mom's employee plan which shouldn't have activation fee.
 
Try opening Chrome if you can't get Apple.com/store to load in Safari or Firefox.

I had to wait on Apple.com because I go first through Discover Card site to earn 5 percent on the purchase.

Kept reloading Firefox & Safari, kept saying store was down.

I had to open Chrome and then the store was live.

Got my 64 GB order in. Yikes, the $64 tax is high. Higher than I remember it being on the 4S, maybe the non subsidized price is considered higher now.

Oh well. Happy to get the order in. Thought about getting Apple +. Hope I don't regret not getting it.

I just tried the app, and it said it couldn't connect to AT&T systems. So instead it gave me a reservation # that only lasts 24 hours. :(

Still no luck here in Halifax, Canada with either the app or the website.
 
Black/Slate 32 GB on AT&T from Apples Website bought :) ready to replace my 16gb 4 that has been faithful for the past 2+ years!(even though i'm on my third one (dropped two previous ones in the toilet (but got two free replacements from applestore)))
 
AT&T completely effs things up again, site still seems to be down. Ordered through Apple's site (not app), went through fairly quickly except for retrieving my account info.

Same here, I had to snag my wife's phone out of the bedroom to order my wife's replacement via the iOS app on her phone :)

I'm going to call Apple in the morning to see if I can get that changed.
 
Highly recommend ordering at Apple.com. They take returns so much easier than AT&T or Verizon *if* something goes wrong.

Thanks I went to the Apple App and I ordered 32g black. I am done.

I was setting there trying to reload Apple.com and att.com. I reloaded this thread and saw the above post.
