What a terrible thing to say!

Not really.
Apple should focus on producing tools that we use to fight for social justice.

By ignoring those tools they are producing a trickle down effect in that we won't be able to effectively fight. And that in turn will reduce their income (as it has already) so they'll have less too. What a waste Tim Cook is. Only out for himself and his $100+ million recent bonus. Way to go, Cook.

This makes no sense. You're saying that Cook is altruistically jeopardizing his future income by paying tribute to a civil rights icon on a national holiday. And you would prefer that he concentrate his efforts on making more AirPods to earn those future bonuses.

my 4 year old iPad

I thought I'd stick with my iPad 3 until it died but yeah, have you tried the iPad Pro and a Pencil combo? It's unbelievable tech and a better purchase than any desktop computer I've bought in the past few years too. Surprising stuff.

I wish Apple had no political agenda and social justice goals to pursue.

For me, that's one of the reasons I choose to support Apple and I do like that Tim has stepped up their social justice platform, publicized their charitable giving and has become a bit more vocal on certain issues.

The haters will continue to hate 7 days a week.
Even I appreciated what Dr King stood for and I was 3000+ miles away on another continent.
Yes, I am old enough to remember the Assination of JFK. I can remember experiencing segregation (not enforced) on a bus going from NYC to Elizabeth City in 1975. It was just unreal to me that white people did not want to travel on the same bus as black folk.
Keeping that aim of his going is good for everyone regardless of colour, race, creed or sexuality.
Ignore those who complain Tim. Just remember those immortal words of Gandi.

Most of Apple's political agenda is pure political correctness gone mad, but they got this right. It's too bad most people claim allegiance to the ideas of MLK, but in fact do anything they can to destroy what he envisioned.

MLK was one of the last to envision society where race did not matter and a process to get there without violence. Today, violence is accepted and race is routinely used as an excuse for preference. I'll bet MLK is turning over in his grave. But he was a visionary and his life ended too early.

For the love of Jobs

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but for those miserable enough to have any kind of issue with this, I have the following advice; when you look in the mirror tomorrow, keep going for an extra thirty seconds. You morose, pointless ****s. Apple and their political stance brings more to the world than your boring whining about every single thing ever ;)
