Will places accept a card with no numbers or signature? I doubt it

Definitely. Except those that needed to enter the number manually, they had never needed the number to appear on the card in the first place. And businesses no longer need to take your signature.

99% of places never look at your card, you just swipe it yourself, and Visa and Mastercard dropped the signature requirement a year ago.
Signature requirement for purchases is not the same as signature on the card.

I agree that merchants rarely look at cards.

You can get the number from the Wallet app on your iPhone, not convenient, but possible.
What's inconvenient about it? Everyone has there phone on the more often than they do their credit card. And anyway, you iPhone, iPad, Mac will just auto-fill in the info anyway like it already does.

Will applying to the Apple Card affect your credit score? They didn't mention it.
Yes. How would it not? Your credit score is just your credit history summarized down to a single number. Opening a new revolving credit account is a change in your credit history which will be reported to the credit bureaus therefore affecting your credit score.

I already have Apple Pay with my Apple Wallet. Will I have to apply for a new credit card/account then for this? I don't like that as my credit reports are locked down. The card is awesome cool with no numbers though.

No fees, even late fees (weird), and supposedly low interest rates. Any word on what merchants will be charged for theses transactions?
