Fact (for many of us) , last keynote event WAS boring.

Can't wait! I'm really interested in the iPhone 12 mini, and seeing the value of the Apple Silicon Macs. Looking forward to Tuesday!

iPhones are sold around the world but the majority of this world population uses Android, if that would be available an item will be found in no time.

The fact that Apple is a 2 trillion dollar company and the world's richest and most valuable company speaks highly that they KNOW how to make money and they are doing the right thing with the iPhone.
 
Will we see new Macs though? I feel like early November is the latest they can go for at least the announcement, otherwise they lose the Christmas buyers.

Nobody talking about Big Sur. Do you think there are any chances that is is being released after the event?

everyone knew that in June, that's when he predicted that? he has sources for sure - for what's is worth he is in the 73%-80% accuracy (based on Appletrack)
note that even Mark Gurman gets stuff wrong all time as well - being in the leaking business is prone to failure. I had clients ready to announce products that had back track on the night or event the same day.

I have to say this year I’m not that bothered about the new phones, I don’t have 5G where I live or anywhere I go, I’m not sure about the strength of the new phone if it’s still like the iPad Pro it might be a little bit more fragile compared with the old version, so I will have to wait and see. Then the quality of the device itself considering constraints with parts and Covid worker availability this year is another concern I have. Also it’s got a battery hungry 5G modem and a smaller battery so I think I’ll probably wait till next year when modems are probably less power hungry and maybe 5G has got a little bit closer, to be honest. With the speeds I get I’m quite happy with 4G in the UK and I’m more than happy with my 11 pro until 2021 at least.

  1. 5G using Qualcom chip not intel
  2. Real fast charging including over wireless
  3. Wifi-6
