My biggest hope is that the 12 Pro’s aren’t releasing in November. Would be nice if they dropped with the 12 and 12 Mini.
November wouldn't be so bad if it's like the X and is early. Big difference in release early Nov vs into holiday season.

Ordered a MacBook Air on September 25th and it's still "Processing" ... FWIW.

I'd like a less expensive HomePod for Christmas, I've been good...

The shipping time on Airs and iPad Pros are suspiciously long, and not an Apple store withing hundreds of miles of me has any inventory. 1's and two's of high-end configs and that's it.

I'm betting the pro's have an imminent refresh about to drop which would be logical, but the Air's were recently updated.... maybe wishful thinking, but imminent refresh with Apple silicone?

I want to buy a new Mac but I do not want burned again like I was from the Power PC move to Intel. I'm also afraid to be a first time buyer if an Apple silicone model but I'll take one for the team there. :)

He probably doesn't have a TV or other device with the app.

This might shock you but everyone doesn't (or can't afford) to buy a new TV every year and people still have older TV's with great displays that aren't smart TV's or old smart tv's that can't be updated.
Heck we even have a nice 2yr old 58" Sharp Roku and we still prefer using the ATV for ATV stuff. Can Airplay and it is a bit faster. And I think there might be some thing that don't work quite the same on the Roku. I just want to know if Fitness+ will work in the app on the Roku

September Event: Apple Watch 6 & iPad Air 4
October Event: iPhone 12 & AirTag, AirPod Studio, HomePod mini
November Event: Apple Silicon Macbook & AppleTV, iMac refresh

Most likely..

I have Apple TVs for the consistent UI's across my home. I don't even use the Apple TV app, but having my wife and kids know how to navigate any TV in the home on a consistent (and quick UI) is worth it to me. The built-in TV navigation is usually laggy and not great. Also, if I ever need to replace a TV everything stays the same once my Apple TV is plugged in.
Yea Alexa can turn it on and off and then it turns on the TV. My wife just has to say Alexa, turn (on/off) Apple TV and then use the remote from there.

So agree! I have Airplay built in on my Visio but it's really unreliable at times.
I'm also wondering about Fitness+ working with the app. Visio just pushed out the ATV app a month ago, which was pretty awesome. My ATV is sitting in a box somewhere and I really haven't bothered to watch much ATV+ content because I'm not big on small screen viewing. Fitness+ would be great on a big screen without having the ATV box connected. I laughed at the event last month when they were like, "You can watch it on your iPhone!" Who is following a cardio routing on that?

The Apple TV app isn’t really comparable to an Apple TV. I’ve been using Roku and although it’s not bad, I’m tired of them not having a few major apps that I use. I used to use Chromecast and actually do like that, but I might as well get the missing piece to the Apple ecosystem now.
Yes and even some they do have are neutered like HBO is come junky version on Roku compared to Max on ATV.

naturally i have an appointment with my ophthalmologist a half hour in to this, where they will dilate my pupils and i won't be able to focus my eyes for an hour...

No matter when you buy you'll be the ONLY person who has an Apple SiliconE product. Silicon and SiliconE are entirely two different products and materials. It's Apple Silicon.

Might be an expensive month for me. iPhone Pro for sure, but hoping for a HomePod mini, a new Apple TV, and I am intrigued by an ARM 12 inch MacBook, but I would want to see how Big Sur is doing before making that leap. Right now, iPadOS 14 is just too polished.

I am with you on this. I have a high end Panasonic plasma from 2012 that still looks better than 95% of LCDs on the market today. I have no desire to replace this TV any time soon.

Kinda sad, but the only thing from this event that I'll likely be interested in are the AirTags, assuming a reasonable price. Such is the state of Apple innovation these days...
Innovation isn’t easy, fast, or cheap. Even as the world’s most valuable company it takes years for Apple to research and develop new products. But they’re always worth waiting for.

My theory on the circles is that they're hinting at the 3 iPhone sizes. But after reading the few other theories floating around, it's also possible there are mutliple clues built into the graphic.
