Looks like Apple is finally giving consumers some things like a different keyboard and sharing...though limited and it is only for iTunes. Welcome to 3.5 years ago.

Finally after X years they allow us to have what we should of had since day 1 iPad launch, a keyboard with a row of numbers on it !!!

I always wondered why they removed the ability to tweet or post to facebook from the notification center. So now you can "like" FB notifications, but still can't post a status? Weird.

With the new Notifications Widgets, I'm sure Facebook will take care of that.

Dark Mode for iOS please.

And while it's a big step closer, I can't wait til they fill their last remaining communications gap with VOIP and knock Skype out.

Really... :roll eyes:

What about Continuity, can it do that....can it?

Actually, yes it can and does.....I use MySMS and I get my text messages on my computer. Again, I can answer and make calls from my computer.

Again, use Google docs and everything syncs automatically.

Really, there wasn't a single feature that I didn't go, yep I got that on my Android phone already.

Copy Android.... Check!
Copy Snapchat....Check!
Copy Whatsapp... Check!

Thanks Apple for innovation!

You left out Copy Samsung with the health thing.

Really the only thing id like to have from Apple that is better is Facetime. Skype works but i think Facetime is better.

While I don't use spotlight, this new expansion of its functionality, especially into Safari, is a big deal.

It's providing an instant bypass around google.

No, you weren't. You were hoping to make this statement regardless of what they came out with.

Actually no, I have had an iPhone and liked it for quite some time. I switched due to a number of problems (some are solved by iOS 8 admittedly, such as additional keyboard options and others are not, such as screen size), but ultimately truly innovative features is what drives competition. It doesn't matter if you use an iPhone or an Android, real competition by creating the innovative features benefits everyone.

I want to see a return (on both sides) to real innovation, not just copying each other.

Notification Center Additions

I always wondered why they removed the ability to tweet or post to facebook from the notification center. So now you can "like" FB notifications, but still can't post a status? Weird.

I would imagine Facebook will probably provide this functionality within their widget. (Or at least should)

during the enterprise part however i was busy so i had to watch it in secret

I did see that, but I am thinking it is referring to auto-reply email setting in exchange.

I was hoping to get imessage/sms auto reply. I am guessing we did not get it.

Copy Android.... Check!
Copy Snapchat....Check!
Copy Whatsapp... Check!

Thanks Apple for innovation!

How Apple sees it:

Took Android users.....check!
Took Snapchat users....check!
Took Whatsapp users....check!

Thanks customers for knowing who's the best! :apple:

I love my Apple products.
I don't have an iPhone.
I can do these features on my Android phone.
Hey Galaxy or Hey Google.
Messaging interaction without leaving the app I'm in, etc.

Anyway...... Boring.....

Yet you chose to waste your time by trolling on an Apple Fan based website then.
Sheesh.

Jesus Christ ENOUGH with this effing "trolling" nonsense already!!!!
He offers criticism and he's a troll?!?

A troll is someone who says something like "2+2=5" or "the sky is green" or whatever.
NOT EVERYTHING APPLE DOES IS SUPERWONDERFULTERRIFFICNEATOKEEN.

Don't you think, like any normal person, he loved the iPad announcement?
Of course he did.
But because he's not doing handsprings around the room
because Apple slightly changed the PHOTO icon, he's a so-called "troll"?!?

Did you happen to take notice of his very first sentence?
You know, the one where it says: "I love my Apple products."?
Didja see that?
C'mon, man: use your bloody head.

"iOS should have had blahblah 5 years ago."

"Blahblah had that feature 3 years ago."

"That feature should have been available from day one."

These complaints have been bandied about since day one.

Here are my educated guesses based on what I've read so far and on Apple's past account handling methods.

No, but Mom and Dad can now copy items out of each other's collections.

Yes.

Back to square one with no purchase history.

Yes.

From the wording I can't tell if non-DRM music that you've already copied from the purchaser (another family member) will remain usable when you exit from the Family Plan.
And this shows exactly the problems with this kind of setup.
