Bumps over bumps over bumps....over bumps. Copycats. When Huawei present 4 lens camera Apple will follow. This is not "think different" company anymore but "followers" company (few years ago). No frameless screens. No design change. No notch. No fingerprint sensor integrated in screen. How do they want to compete with OnePlus while chinese maker has better engineers and designers? How? iOS is not an argument anymore.
Don't you think the "bump" is there for a reason? They could flatten the cameras, but they'd they be giving up very important physics-driven reasons for the depth of the camera stack. Instead, they work with light physics to achieve the best results, and if that requires a slight bump, so be it.
And the increase in lenses is just a progression of technology as a whole, not to copy what the competition is doing. If each lens was the same, then maybe, but each lens is specialized in its job. The hardware and software has evolved to the point where it now makes sense to support multiple lens. It's more coincidence than copying. But believe what you might.
Frameless screen? Don't you realize that the bezel actually serves a purpose? Who wants their fingers covering the screen? You're fishing for reasons to make iPhones look bad, when they are actually more practical in everyday use.
Face ID is stellar. Apple could embed Touch ID into the screen, but clearly the technology is not ready yet. Unless you want them to copy the competition now? See the contradiction here?
Overall, the latest iPhone continues to keep the bar high that leads the industry. You can't argue that. I'm thinking you want them to be different for the sake of being different, but that's not a consumer-first focus. That's a tech-first focus.
Apple has delivered a great device, again. No arguments.
