Apple Announces iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max With New Design, Larger Battery, and More

I buy the Pro Max every year but there's no way this time. Aluminium looks cheap like a non-pro model, the new design is terrible. Colours are ok if you like colours but no black? Are you kidding me? Surely the Pro in black was the biggest seller in previous years. I can't understand it. It's hideous. Apple what are you doing.

I guess I get to slide down to a regular 17 this year if I decide to upgrade at all. Only real reason would be for the downsize from a Pro Max and if the anti-reflective coating is actually near S25 Ultra level of avoiding glare.

For the battery life? I can’t think of any other „feature“.

I think I figured it out, they are desperate as they reached the peak of new iphone pro users last year, so now they are turning to the Nike Tactic, turn the phone orange. That means expect the next pro max phone color to be neon green, haha.

Not true. Most people use their iPhone as their sole camera, and many are going to want more than one lens; despite the various focal lengths in that single lens.

Interesting. Personally, I think Air turned out to be better than expected — this whole new look gives me X vibes.

Pro, on the other hand, looks… weird. I think for me it’s up there with 6/6S design which I thought was really hideous…

I'm kind of glad the Pro is so unappealing this year. It makes me want to go for the cheaper, lighter Air, which I feel like I will like more.

It almost feels intentional. Like they really want the Air to be a success so they are making the Pro unappealing.

Unfortunately for me the Air is an absolute no go (even though it looks like 1 million times better). Not sure what to do at this point.
