At first I thought "damn that's expensive" but the more I think of it, it's not really unaffordable, but it is a bit more expensive compared to what I pay.
For example, I pay $50 per month for 600 minutes + unlimited evenings and weekends and unlimited data (using t-mobile t-zones). I have a Nokia 6680 a fully featured web browser (Opera) and a decent POP mail client (the built in Nokia client with word, excel, and jpeg attachment support), an IM program that does MSN AIM and yahoo, google maps, and some basic office apps. Doesn't that sound a lot like the iPhone? I even have a Mac theme on my phone! 🙂 I know the interface most likely sucks compared to the iPhone, its a lot slower, older etc.
The iPhone in comparison costs $59/month for less minutes and no unlimited evenings or weekends (although it does have unlimited calls to other AT&T users which is great if you know people on AT&T and useless if not). It also has rollover which mine does not. But the phone itself is about 100 times cooler so I guess that extra $9 is worth it for that.
Too bad the phone itself is too expensive for me to even think about getting one... yet.
