Wow, I'm blown away. The return of Konfabulator widgets, Screen Savers are a back, they're going to focus on Mac gaming and we get iChat backgrounds in FaceTime.

Welcome back to the early 2000s.

Edit: OMG. Web Clips are back too! Mac OS X Tiger Sonoma?

The most comical fact is that Redmond will start their photocopiers even this time around.

reminds me of something... (fun fact: this was taken in Sonoma County.)

All we need is for Bill Brown to compose a new Mac startup sound and the transformation would be complete.

If only there had been a way to run desktop widgets back ten years ago…
I dimly remember something called Dashboard from Mac OS 10.4? Or was it 10.6?

What I want to know is if the new version of Safari has Cookie Autodelete, or something similar. All cookies exterminated on leaving a webpage, unless that page is on a keeper list.

Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger).

Is macOS starting to look a lot like Windows NTs XP & Vista, user loved XP and hated Vista’s Widgets now macOS seems to be trying to emulate Microsoft and Microsoft trying to copy macOS 🤣

I don't know what this says about the state of MacOS software, but I can't watch the livestream on Mac Safari right now. 😂 It was fine on iOS, then I tried switching to Mac and I just get a never-ending loading screen. It plays fine on Mac Firefox, however.

No news is good news.
No mac requirement changes! All Ventura models still supported*!

*New facetime features probably requires Apple Silicon.

Or not. :(

Suppose it’s somewhat expected with such mature OS’s but I’m falling asleep watching this haha. Don’t think there’s one thing that I’m going to use on a regular basis so far. Each to their own of course but yeah I’m bored.
