I wonder about final cut, I feel like at first I will be comfortable with a mouse contrary to what Apple wants
I want to see a list of 600 iPad apps that people use for productivity.Am I the only one that wouldn’t mind seeing a list with 600 items on it?
But ipad (vision whatever) versions. Can't use that, at least in what I do. I mean it's great and all but it's essentially ipad apps. Though I'm not sure I'd want to put a headset on to do work even if they were full apps.
Zero AR apps, all blown up iPad apps. The narrative about developers being turned off by the App Store has always struck me as a hit piece by people with an axe to grind against Apple. This is a new platform, not every developer has the time and resources to support another platform right away, and so I won't be surprised if there aren't as many apps as one might like.
It doesn't mean that there won't be any apps though, and "concern trolling" of the danger of some mass developer exodus appear to have been overly exaggerated. The apps will come in time. As for Spotify, well, I dare them to permanently stay off the vision pro platform, even as they see their subscribers slowly migrate over to Apple Music.
But doesn’t allow to reorder and put in folder?
Apple today announced that over 600 apps with native support for visionOS will be available on the Vision Pro when the headset launches in the U.S. this Friday.

In addition, more than one million compatible iOS and iPadOS apps will automatically be available on the Vision Pro at launch. In the streaming space, for example, compatible apps that will be available include Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, and Peacock. Other compatible apps include Slack, Todoist, Comcast Xfinity, Sling TV, ESPN, and more.

It's a fresh new platform from Apple, those iPad apps are obviously placeholder while the true VR app store gains traction. Plus the support for apps that aren't 100% made for VR will always come in handyThat’s being lazy, lazy, LAZY. Not putting real effort into the app overall and that will turn away lot of users.
If you want your customers to stay, take time to OPTIMIZE your apps, write new codes and debug.
And only 10 being useful
Surprise! Monthly subscriptions as far as the eye can see!
Literally laughing out loud.

Apple is not positioning this as a VR headset but as a future replacement for your computer. You shouldn't release a product like this with a lot more VR specifically built Apps
Apple is not positioning this as a VR headset but as a future replacement for your computer.
So focusing on apps and windows makes sense for them.
What an intimate way of sharing an experience…
Good question! Can you tell us more?
How is the experience shared when you're locked in your own AVP?
Do you mean with other people using an AVP I assume?
Not following your point. Are you laughing *at* VisionOS users for being duped by this new headset? Or do I have it totally wrong?
If "native support for visionOS" means that it incorporates spatial computing features
3D interactive ideally, or at the minimum take advantage of the huge visual space and support separate screens. What exactly are "spatial computing features"?
have you ever used PowerPoint/Word/Excel in a professional working environment? The iPad versions are a gimmick, the Vision versions will be too. No one is doing actual work on those. Not sure I call MS office a gimmick.
