If you factory reset it, it'll roll back your mileage too!Imagine this crashing as often as it does now and poof, even your gauge cluster is out.
The M2 isn't a huge bump, you'll survive. Not only is my M1 Macbook Air outdated, but now I have to replace my car too!
Mid year 2023’s come out in January or so. So during the IOS 16 year.IOS 17 feature - If the cars that support this (multiscreen with car controls) aren't out until NEXT year, why is being featured today? In short, are there no new features for CarPlay in IOS 16? At least add Dark Sky or SOME weather feature.
V8 Tesla:Wish Tesla supported CarPlay, but more chance of them bringing out a petrol version.
ford supports CarPlay and if you watch the video closely you will see a new feature just for the mach-e and it’s strange sized display.haha i recognize those street names, that's oakland. strange that apple wouldn't use cupertino streets.
so ford doesn't support CarPlay? i was looking at the electric mustang to replace my M3. i guess it can't be worse than the M3 in that respect.

OMG, that would be so f--ing amazing! My dream is that one day, I can get into a rental car, fire up CarPlay and the car will immediately set my preferred temperature, favorite local radio stations, and possibly even my own power seat and mirror settings....
Sigh... I know. It's just painful. Toyota feels so outdated and behind the times. Even non-infotaimment items, like the fact the Camry now has AWD but the hybrid version doesn't yet the Rav4 Hybrid does. Doesn't make sense.Toyota/Lexus will be last. Just like last time. sigh
I know. That demo screen is exactly the screen from iDrive 8.Interestingly BMW wasn't on the list of participants. Even though they have a model with a display that looks very much like that.
Quite possibly. Toyota are only starting to get mainstream with wireless CarPlay, and I notice that they are conspicuously absent on the list of manufacterers who are collaborating with Apple on new CarPlay features.Toyota/Lexus will be last. Just like last time. sigh
