Obligatory keeping my iPad Pro 2018 11” for another year
Same here, glad I bought that one when it released. In hindsight one of the most solid and long-lasting Apple designs, essentially unchanged since then. Still powerful enough to do everything I need a tablet to do, and compatible with the Pencil 2 and magic keyboard. As long as it holds up, I really don't see a single compelling reason to update.

So wait, the new 10th gen base iPad has a landscape front facing camera, but the new M2 Pro doesn’t? 🤯

My assumption on the lack of landscape camera on the Pro level iPad is that the magnet/charger for the Gen 2 Apple Pencil would likely cause some issues/interference with the camera being in the same physical space along that edge.

The iPad that has been updated with the landscape camera is still stuck on the Gen 1 pencil according to the specs.

A bummer for sure but after thinking it through I understand why we aren't seeing that.

Does anyone else find it weird that all this professional apps are coming to the iPad Pro thanks to the M2 processor and the power of the iPad Pro, but none of the pro apple apps are being ported over. Apple is full of so much BS and constantly hamstrings the iPad Pro.

Don’t know about a M3 iPad Pro, but word is that there will be a 14” iPad Pro in Spring. That’s what I’m waiting for.
What will you do with it? Most of the apps for the iPad Pro are designed to work with the lesser models. It won’t give you extra space. Only the touch target will be bigger.

Could someone confirm that on Apple websites of your countries Apple also hidden how many GB of RAM iPad / iPhone or Apple TV has in product view and compare?

It’s gone from Apple Store in Poland

The hover function would be the main selling point for pro users who has to use Wacom tablets.

I wonder if they finally put a good use to that Thunderbolt/USB4 port transfer speed because 5th Gen transfer speeds was just terrible even for the 1TB/2TB size. No where near speed of Thunderbolt 3 at all!

We don’t know for sure how they’ll scale such a device. And even if they keep the same scaling on a larger screen, there are other use cases where it’s not a big difference. For my uses, the larger scaling isn’t a big deal. In fact, a larger touch target would actually make things a little easier for me.
