They have made all the right choices. Amazing design.

RIP wedge, and luckily no absurd off-white bezel.

Would definitely buy a bigger-screened version to replace my 16” M1 Pro.
Would they offer such a bigger-screened version? That would eat into their 16” M1 Pro sales. I’m actually now thinking of returning my 16” M1 Pro for this new 13.6” M2 Air.

It does not come in blue
Oh, I didn’t realize that there wasn’t a blue color.

I was following along on the MacRumors live blog and there was a post where it said that it’s blue

Looks great and is a good option for those who might not need a MacBook Pro but want something more than the current Air. The potential for 24 GB of RAM is huge too.

That's student pricing, although you can usually get the base Air for even cheaper on frequent Costco/BB sales.
Unless there was a recent change made that I'm not aware of, anyone can get student pricing since they don't check if you're a student. I think the one caveat is you're limited to one or two student purchases per year.

Wow, these look amazing. The midnight blue is hot hot hot. I'm so glad there's no pastels, white bezels or keyboard. I'll miss the wedge, but man, beautiful!

The new MacBook Air will be available next month, with no specific date provided yet.

Available next month means Apple wants to tie this release in with their Summer Back-to-School promo. Free AirPods like last year?

I can wait...
