You've never heard of adult students? I'm 32 and just got my master's degree last month.
Should have put the Magsafe charger on the other side with audio jack!
(assuming it will also charge via USB-C)
Because it would add 50¢ to the manufacturing cost.
Wow, I used my MacBook Pro mid 2010 for 10 years. With 8GB of ram.
I wonder if they’ll give me Student pricing if I use my AARP card?

Is it just me or does this machine no longer have P3 colour space? The M1 Air did have it, but the ending slide did not mention it, instead speaking of 1 billion colours...

Why can't a 30 year old be a student? My father is 51 and he recently graduated from the university. One of my classmate's was 53. years old. When I was in a nursing school many of my classmates were in their 40s.
So all the pricing is up but you can't actually order it yet.
Still 8GB of ram. I thought they would have mentioned it if they were increasing the ram or storage.
Options for 16GB or 24GB. $200 and $400 to upgrade.
8 core GPU in the base model and 10 core in the higher-end version.
An increase of £250-£300 for those of us in the UK, so quite steep, but the exchange rate has weakened. For example, £1,749 for one with 16GB of ram and 512GB of storage is high.
Think I'll be waiting a while to upgrade from my current M1 Air. The new one looks good but I doubt that I'll notice much difference.

Totally they'll suspect nothing. Then after paying for my student laptop with my business account I'll walk back to my CPA, have him write it off as an expense, and also claim depreciation on it
*Love* the midnight color and the magsafe, but that's it, I'm keeping my credit card in my wallet. I was hoping for non passive cooling and a notch is a deal breaker.

Trying to remember, does apple do trade in promos? And if so, is it like 2-3 months after launch or something like that? I would definitely trade in my m1 air, but as of right now, it looks like it’s only $400 max.
