Totally they'll suspect nothing. Then after paying for my student laptop with my business account I'll walk back to my CPA, have him write it off as an expense, and also claim depreciation on it
Lol, there is literally nothing stopping you from using the education store student discount as a non-student. If you're above that then good for you, but I'm taking any discount I can get.

Ouuuuffffff!! It’s finally happened! The £/$ has finally turned the other way for Apple products!
$1199/£1249! I was expecting £/$1199 each. But it’s finally swayed the other way.

OUCH!

Looks like I’ll be buying a MacBook Air when I’m next in the US!
Buying a MBA for $1099 on Education over there, (with tax).. will work out at £949!

I’d rather wait it out and save £300!!!

For video editing of 4K 10-bit footage in H264, do you guys think the MB Air M2 is enough? Or is it still a better idea to get the MB Pro with M1 Pro? I'm confused as to whether the M2 in the Air is actually more powerful than the M1 Pro or not...

You're not kidding. I mean £1,549 and still only 8GB Ram, £1,749 for a MBA with 16GB ram. But a 14-inch M1 Pro will only cost another £150...
