I swear I just saw the 5 download option on this page:

There were only two links, for Snow Leopard and Leopard, but when I clicked the option to download for SL, it gave me 4.0.5

That's cool, but I honestly don't know what Safari 5 can do to make me switch from the latest Chrome build. To me, Chrome has all the good bits of Safari and a killer UI on top. And installing/uninstalling extensions is so simple on Chrome compared to Firefox.
