I have the silver/white 14PM — beautiful combination. I will be getting the Ultra, so whatever that color ends up being is what I will go with. Ultra excited!I'm going with Silver if I decide to pull the trigger. It would be the first time I've ever gone with a white/silver color iPhone. All the previous ones have been OG, black, jet black, space grey, or last year's deep purple. Time for me to show the Silver some love lol. Although, if Apple does surprise us with an Ultra that looks like that mockup based off the AWU design, I will buy that instead.
If the blue looks like that, I may be tempted away from the silver again. 🤪
A dream would be a partnership between Apple and Nintendo, and the next Switch main chip be based on an A17 or A18. Maybe customised without the Neural Engine cores. THAT would be a dream: Industry leading graphics and outstanding battery life on a game console. My uncle works at Nintendo and he says all new iPads will have joy-con rails and come with an Apple Silicon native Switch emulator, allowing access to Nintendo’s online store.

I just hope for everyone’s sake it’s actually as grey as people are hoping, based on the renders accompanying the various rumors. I’m thinking there’s a possibility it’s going to look a lot like my Starlight SE3. Now I personally love that phone, but it’s not for everyone. The Titanium on the Apple Watch Ultra looks kind of like my Starlight colored iPhone and one of my Apple Watches. I also thought one of the newly colored power cords looked like a better match for Starlight and the one people think is for the grey is actually meant for the white-silver phone.Yeah, it's gonna be that Titan Gray color for me. I miss the Graphite color from the iPhone 12 Pro Max (I got Sierra Blue for the 13 Pro Max), and have Silver for the 14 Pro Max. I like to switch it up every year, though I've never gotten the Gold color, so I'm not really sad to see it go.
One thing I can honestly say though, is that I like all of these colors and wouldn't mind have any of them.
I don’t even know why this is a discussion that’s happening.
We seen them introduce a new port on the iPhone before.
We’ve also seen them transition a lightning product over to USB-C before.
It’s really no mystery how they’ll introduce it.
They even got an excuse, at the original introduction of lightning They said it would last them “the next decade”, and that’s exactly what it has done.
Literally copy-paste bits of what they said when the iPhone originally got lightning and what they said when the iPad switched to USB-C and you’ll probably be very close.
They definitely won’t ignore it, they definitely won’t over emphasize it, but it will still be notable.
It might be a shade close to Starlight, but Apple certainly won't name it "Starlight" as that's reserved for mid-tier and SE Apple products.I just hope for everyone’s sake it’s actually as grey as people are hoping, based on the renders accompanying the various rumors. If it is a Starlight kind of shade, that may explain why Apple did away with gold this year as that would be their newest close approximation.
I guess we will have to wait and see.
The pre-recorded video events will never go away.No live keynote?
When is someone going to tell Tim Cook that COVID is over and people are back to doing live events?
No chance any Apple product sees big upgrades or external changes just one year post initial launch.Interested to see what the Ultra 2 watch will be like. My 6 is scratched and beat to death, but I might hold out another year.
Don't care about this round of iPhones.
No, but Apple's gotta gauge those iPhone sales before anything major happens for Macs or iPads. No iMacs. Did they abandon this product line?
Y'know, that'd make it the grippiest, least likely to fall out of your hand iPhone ever. I'd kinda be pretty damned good with that. 🙂
If you are waiting for an iMac with a 32" screen, not gonna happen. But we might see an M2 24" iMac update. No iMacs. Did they abandon this product line?
That is how it felt for such a long time. Up until the M1 Macs arrived. But I think Apple is doing a better job of keeping a balance between the iOS lineup and the macOS lineup. It's really only the iMac line that has been neglected in the last batch of Mac updates and I think that might have more to do with them redesigning the iMac much earlier than they initially anticipated due to user feedback from the last update. They seem to be listening to their audience more than they used to.No, but Apple's gotta gauge those iPhone sales before anything major happens for Macs or iPads.
Apple is iPhone first.
Every other Apple product is always lower priority, second in line (literally).
If it’s Starlight and not gray, I’ll probably go for the blue color.I just hope for everyone’s sake it’s actually as grey as people are hoping, based on the renders accompanying the various rumors.
