I'm going with Silver if I decide to pull the trigger. It would be the first time I've ever gone with a white/silver color iPhone. All the previous ones have been OG, black, jet black, space grey, or last year's deep purple. Time for me to show the Silver some love lol. Although, if Apple does surprise us with an Ultra that looks like that mockup based off the AWU design, I will buy that instead.
I’m more than likely going to go with the Silver, which will be the first silver iPhone I’ve had since the 6+.

I hope they will go back to live events one day. Those are more exciting, because so much can go wrong. It was so funny when FaceID did not work on stage. Of course nothing beats the "blue screen" during the Windows 98 live presentation by Bill Gates.

To be fair, Apple is being strong-handed by the EU on that front. It could have decided to stick with Lightning outside of EU, but there are other benefits to USB-C (data speeds improvements, depending of the protocol, and faster charging) that would benefit for certain users. Lightning was an outdated port anyway.

And not everyone will have to get new cords. Many people on this forum own an iPad or a Mac. Many own a PC, a Nintendo Switch, maybe some third party earbuds or a PlayStation controller. Many of them charge with USB-C. I already have a few cables laying around my house, and I know it's the case of many others.
Exactly. I already have a bunch of USB-C coords, more than lightning. And since there are still millions of lightning iPhones out there, you could donate your old lightning coords to give them a new life with someone else.

All of mine are going to my kids and fiancé. They’ll be using lightning for a few more years, or until I upgrade my daughter’s iPhone 14 next year and her iPad.

September 12 has been a big year for Apple many times.

Per Stephen Hackett's calendar:

2006: 2nd gen iPod nano/Shuffle; 5th gen iPod introduced
2012: iPhone 5 introduced
2017: iPhone 8 & X introudced
2018: iPhone XR/XS; Apple Watch Series 4 introduced

Well then..... titanium will make the phone so feature rich I cant wait, that and a button will replace a switch. i set my timer for the announcement I'm just over excited.

Check out what we could be seeing as far as iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max line up goes.

Yeah, it's gonna be that Titan Gray color for me. I miss the Graphite color from the iPhone 12 Pro Max (I got Sierra Blue for the 13 Pro Max), and have Silver for the 14 Pro Max. I like to switch it up every year, though I've never gotten the Gold color, so I'm not really sad to see it go.

One thing I can honestly say though, is that I like all of these colors and wouldn't mind have any of them.

Would be interested in iPhone it it has a new form factor. Otherwise still waiting for updated iMac. Not really interested in anything else.

European pricing will dictate whether I keep my 11 for another year. I do like the idea of a much improved camera, but I'm not sure I want to pay Pro Ultra Max (or whatever it ends up being called) prices for one.

I do wonder what having a bigger phone would be like though. For me, it's a trade-off between usability and pocket-ability.
It's ridiculous how much we get price gouged here, even when adjusting for differences in sales tax/VAT. The Europe penalty we pay seems to be greater than 10%.
